ASF is a desktop application whose purpose is to idle games to farm Steam cards. It can be used to add free promotions via the command-line interface with !addlicense.

We do not know if Sales X or Event Y will feature a badge. Previously, badges were obtained during Lunar New Year Event, Racing Fest Event, Spring Cleaning Event, Next Fest Events, Summer Sales, Awards Nomination Event, Winter Sales.

As per Steam Partner documents, a discount cannot be run:

• within 30 days of a prior discount,
• except for seasonal sale events, e.g. the Winter sale.🎄☃️

However, discounts for seasonal sale events cannot be run:

• within 30 days of releasing a title,
• within 30 days from when a launch discount ends,
• within 30 days of a price increase in any currency.

The HTTP 429 Too Many Requests response status code indicates the user has sent too many requests in a given amount of time ("rate limiting").

Valve has strict rate-limits for inventories. Disable any browser add-on or script which may interfere with Steam inventories. Then try again... later:tm:. :wink:

SteamDB Extension is a an add-on for Chrome, Edge & Firefox.

The add-on allows to activate packages on /freepackages :free:, and to highlight owned products on /sales :money_with_wings: and /bundles 📦.

Steam has implemented a policy which delays the sale of community market items if they're being sold for notably higher than market value. This gives up to five days to ensure that there is no fraudulent activity.

You can check games with an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating.

SteamDB uses prices that come from the Steam API. Steam APIs generally return the lowest price of any available package or bundle.

You can verify this by entering the game name into the Steam search and it should show the same price.

Some developers are abusing the bundle system to show deep discounts and low prices, despite the game itself showing a high price.

No, the watchlist is meant to make it easy to track changes to apps of interest: for instance, when a game was last updated.

If you cannot join a Family™️, it may be for one of these reasons:

1. Your activity does not prove you are in the same household.
2. Your account is on cooldown from being in a previous Family™️.
3. The Family™️ member slots are on cooldown.
4. Your account is not in the same country as the Family™️.

For all the rows except the last two, "trending" is detected by the progression of the average number of players compared to the previous week.
