The Snps wagon has a flatbed design in order to transport longitudinal beams, such as logs, pipework and timber. They are open flat beds with high supporting pillars which are used to tie-down loads. Almost 2000 wagons were present at their peak in the 1990s. Today, over 1100 are still in service.
