2020年，地球发生了骇人听闻的新冠病毒疫情。此疫情席卷了全球99%的国家和地区。造成了巨大的经济损失与人员伤亡。此疫情持续了很长的时间，也就是在这样的背景下，铁人与夏文生为了共同的目标即让人类强大起来，而形成了同一战线联盟。他们在全球找来了诸多业界的精英共同研究人类基因。试图通过基因重组计划来让人类变得更强大，让人类不那么脆弱。他们一起努力，在岛上一呆就是10年。在这10年里，他们通过填海，让本来的小岛变大了很多。功夫不负有心人，最后，基因的研究获得了巨大的成功。曾让人闻风丧胆的新冠病毒，根本无法感染重组基因后的人类。然而，就在成功在即，联盟内部因未来该走向哪，而分裂出了三个联盟。
