Update notes via Steam Community

And so, after almost a year after the initial release of this game, I have finally finished the first major update of the game. This update has been focused on overhauling, simplifying, and doing an overall polish of what I have made up to this point in the game. Below is a summary of patch notes.

1)Level rebalancing.
As mentioned above, many of my assets have been completely overhauled for the sake of simplifying the assets in use to make them easier for me to customize them within all the levels. As a result, many levels had to be adjusted for the new mechanics being put in place (I.E., increased player speed). Some levels have had new mechanics put in place altogether benefitting from the overhaul while others have been redesigned altogether while keeping the theme I had going for said level intact. In short, the levels play out smoother, faster, and are overall more balanced with more smaller details sprinkled out here, there, and everywhere.

2)Music Remastered
Another aspect that I have given a lot of attention to is the music. While I still plan on added a minimum of 1 track in future updates, this update will have a new main track and a new menu track added in. On top of this, I have remastered all new and existing tracks for stereo quality. I've also rebalanced how loud (or quiet) some sounds are.

3)Conversation System
The conversation system is essentially the "story" of the game. Essentially, it's just an entity that you can interact with who changes what he says depending on how you interact with him. As of right now, the conversations will still stop at a certain point. However, I have updated and reworded many of the existing branches of conversation related to how I plan on moving forward with the game as well as adding new ones. Fleshing out the conversation system to the end of the game will be the main focus of the next update, but this does not mean that the existing branches will not be added on.

4)Demo added
And finally, the cherry on top. I have included a demo for the general audience to play. It should be set up to where the save file of this demo should be able to be shared and used by the full game. If any problems occur from this not working correctly, I encourage you to reach out to me so that I may investigate what happened and prevent it from continuing to be a problem.

And while there may be plenty of smaller things here and there, that is about all I have to talk about. I hope that everyone enjoys the game.
