*Note: I had to change a lot of the game code for these improvements, so it is possible that when loading a save game, some armour may not display correctly, some items may get stuck in the inventory, and the currently equipped spell may fail in some events. I RECOMMEND STARTING A NEW GAME. Please forgive any inconvenience this may cause.
Some players have suggested me to improve the Inventory system, and players are the most important thing for a developer. I have also received advice on some very good improvements to incorporate into the game. HB&P is a game made for those players, and I want the experience playing it to be the best possible, so I got to work on it. You will see in the changelog which players have contributed ideas and now they are also part of HB&P.
This update focuses on completely changing the inventory system, adding a lot of improvements. This is very important, because from now on, equipped items no longer take up space allowing the player to carry a total of 12 items instead of 9, you can now sort and delete empty slots, and you can cancel the mode of deleting items or selling them by pressing the same button again (and more improvements).
I have also modified the interior location graphics. They look much better now.
And as always, I have added some new options, some new items, and some improvements.

IMPROVEMENTS
- The design of the inventory page has been improved.
- Equipped weapons, armour, and spells do not take up inventory space now (Credit: Paladin Ecko).
- When you get a new item or spell, and your inventory is full, the game system now allows you to replace the newly acquired item with another item that was already in your inventory (Credit: Manuelcooby).
- Added a button to sort the inventory.
- Now when you click the remove items from inventory button again, you are returned to the option to select items.
- In character selection, you no longer need to click on the weapon to see the damage it does, just hover your mouse over it.
- In character selection, the image and description of the spell the mouse is on, is now displayed immediately after choosing a weapon in the same slot. (Credit: Sogtul)
- Now you can see a button to press to go to the options from within the game (Credit: Manuelcooby).
- The volume control bar has been improved for better sound control (Credit: Manuelcooby).
- Pressing the ESC key now also exits the options menu.
ADDED
- Added new armor: Wizard Cloak (a very rare armor hard to find only for characters with a high Wisdom value).
- New weapon: -2 Battle Axe (Very rare to find. Only for characters with high Strength value).
- Added a small possibility that one of the starting villages of the adventure 'The Cobra's Ark', instead of an inn, generates a stable.
- Added possibility to give Kraken Meat to the witch in the story 'The Funeral March'.
CHANGES

BUGSFIXES
- Adjusted the position of weapon and armour bonus numbers to avoid some weapons not displaying the number correctly and also to avoid visual glitches.
- Fixed a bug where the attack button did not display the attribute used on the first attack in the game, or on the first attack after switching weapons.
- Fixed an issue with the volume bar that could be reset if the player returned to the main game panel (Credit: Manuelcooby).
- Fixed a bug that prevented Wizards or Necromancers from obtaining one of the endings of the story 'The Funeral March'.
- Fixed a bug that could display an incorrect inventory icon when accessing the game options from the inventory by pressing the ESC key.
- Fixed a small visual glitch when closing the inventory.
- Fixed a bug in a location in the story 'The Cobra's Ark' where the player, despite having a rope, could not use it.
- Fixed a bug when you bought a horse and your inventory was already full.
- Some texts fixed.
What's next?
I'm still working to offer as soon as possible the Campaign game mode, which will add another different way to play HB&P, much more difficult, more interesting, and heroic!.
