We found that the damage and health increase that enemies were getting after defeating the boss was to steep.
The final state that the difficulty curve introduced was at the correct level but was introduced too quickly. Changed the buff that the enemies get to instead ramp up to the currently level after multiple clears of the boss levels.
Also added some indicators on the overworld map to show that this increase has happened as well as adding some text saying that the minions are becoming stronger.
