Grandiose Update 2.0
This update is and will likely remain the most significant update in Grandiose gaming history. It is colossal, compared to the work it must have taken to complete it. This update puts an end to a lot of the game's flaws. It was therefore crucial. It took 3 months of hard work and several hundred hours of work to finish it. Some of you know this but I was the victim of a corrupted data problem and a mess that caused me to lose part of the game. This part has little impact on the player, because in the end for you it will be the same, but in my case i had to work hard to rebuild this part of the game.
This loss concerns the player's interface, the one he uses when he is in play. And especially the game instance, it is a large storage place for very important variables for the collapse of the game, it is kind of a game's information kernel. Fortunately, I had gotten into the habit of using the main character as an information kernel, but the game instance was still important. It therefore regrouped several databases, for example the database of the crafting table, which contained all the characteristics of the objects, their costs and their name. There was also the plantation database with the characteristics of the plants, which are numerous. But the game instance also contained a good deal of reference variables, which allowed several players in the game to exchange values without a direct connection. So I had to reconstruct this game instance with the other players in the game, and the pieces of programs that showed the presence of certain variables, that helped me a lot. I also rebuilt the database information, with the game containing information directly visible from the user interfaces.
Having said that, I took the opportunity to review most of the game, which has changed dramatically. Here are the changes

Changes and additions
- The barrier has been modified, it is now freely placed, lower and more rustic.
- The roof safety guardrail has been changed, it is more adapted to the earth and can be used as delimiting a vegetable garden.
- The soil used on the foundations and as a ceiling has been changed, it has a more tropical texture more in line with the woods of trees present on the island.
- The ceiling lamp has been changed to a more beautiful and wooden lamp
- The structures of the house have been decorated with wood on the contours of the doors and windows
- The window has been changed to match the contours of the windows.
- Several preview assets have been modified to be more explicit about the position of the future placed object.
- A door has also been added to the rampart, it slides vertically to open and close.
- All interfaces have been completely redone. I changed the font, the design of the backgrounds, I changed the interface sounds. The design of the buttons, the structure of all the menus, of all the icons. I also added some background blur. The construction of the interfaces has therefore been completely redone!
- The main interface has also seen a change first in its design and then in its operation. Since it was gone, I decided to rebuild it differently. The main shape is the same, but the icons, the design of some progress bars have been changed.
- The operation of the main interface has also been changed. The interface extension is now maintained when released. This allows the integration of the next new feature.
- A guide has been added to the interface extension. It is made up of 9 axes of the game. The basics, providing for oneself, collecting resources, building, plants, animals, energy, Defense, the environment.
- An indicator has been added above items supplied with fuel or energy that will turn on or off depending on the stock.
- Changed the player's physics, size and speed, he went from 600 walking speed to 400. And from 1000 sprinting speed to 600.
- The animals are much smaller than before, this helps to avoid their collision problems.
- Explanatory guides have been added to the interfaces of several elements of the game.
- Several systems now benefit from interfaces, for better management, the material drilling machine, the fuel drilling machine, the electric generator.
- An outdoor light has been added, it has a longer range.
- Changed start-up operation of the game. The game starts without going through a menu.
I solved a lot of problems, but I didn't write everything down! But I fixed the lag and crash issue, definitely.
