Hello everyone!

The second part of Deep Despair has been released today! The sequel will be able to please you with a wide variety of content, refined mechanics, as well as a host of innovations, thanks to which dozens of hours of gameplay await you. The game combines many genres and mechanics: sandboxing, building, crafting, farming, animal husbandry, exploration, mining, cooking, brewing, battles, boss fights, electricity system, full terraforming, and more. Therefore, everyone will find in it what they like.

I am an indie developer working on a game alone. For me, game development has always been a favorite hobby and I spend most of my life behind it. First of all, I do this on enthusiasm without regard to financial aspects, but I will be very pleased if you support my work. So I will have the opportunity to continue to delight you with updates to Deep Despair 2, new games and do what you love without thinking about survival issues. Your support is very motivating to develop and get better, because without it the second part would not have come out.

I wish you all a pleasant time in Deep Despair 2! If you find bugs or have any questions, wishes and ideas - feel free to share it in reviews and discussions.

I would also like to warn you that the saves of the game of different versions may be incompatible. Since the architecture of the project changes with each major innovation, it is not always possible to implement compatibility. In this regard, players may lose the opportunity to continue the game in the new version on the old save. I solved this problem by splitting the game assemblies into branches:
The main branch will have the latest stable version of the game.
The Latest Build branch will contain the latest version of the game, which may contain bugs and errors. This thread is mainly intended for testing the game and those who want to be the first to try out new content.
The Update 1.x branches will have stable builds of each of the major updates.

Therefore, you can always play on any version of the game and you will have the opportunity to continue playing on the old version so as not to lose your save.

To switch a branch, you need to go to the properties of Deep Despair 2 (RMB on the game -> Properties), then go to the "Beta versions" tab and select the branch you need from the list.
