Greetings pilots,

What's new?

Each mission now has multiple possible layouts in order to improve replayability. You now also start each playthrough with 1 life! Defeating a boss will reward you with 1 bonus life. Losing a mission will cost you 1 life instead of resulting in instant game over. Remaining lives provide you with a bonus score after defeating the final boss. A summary of your results will now be shown when defeating the final boss.

Postponing the new planet

We were actually hoping to share version 0.10.0 with you which contains the third planet Obscuro. All the systems and content for this new planet are ready except for the art. As you may have noticed in our third devlog we are hobbyist game developers. We love this game, the process of developing it and how well it has been doing on Steam. Unfortunately we may sometimes have other obligations, as is currently the case for our artist Harry. He expects to be able to resume his work on the game in a few weeks and I'm looking forward to his art for the new enemy and new boss.

In order to provide you with a regular updates, we will temporary shift our focus to new features, content and improvements which require no or almost no new art until Harry is able to resume his work on the game. We already applied this approach for this new update, which we hope you'll enjoy. We would love to hear your feedback! If you want to check out the new planet (with placeholder art) then you can do so on the beta-branch version of the game. Check out our second devlog to learn how.

Want to provide us with feedback or just hang out with the devs? Join us on our official discord.
Have fun out there pilots!
