This update mainly focuses on improving the bots and fixing various bugs and problems.

Features

  • Added new animations for the sword class.
  • Added a presentation of the level at the start of each round, while all players load the map.
  • Made improvements to the bots.
    • Made bots able to play all the player classes.
    • Made bots change player classes.
    • Made bots able to use power-ups.
    • Made bots able to go and collect coins.
    • Made bot able to avoid certain threats.
    • Made various small improvements.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the secondary ability UI did not work when the player had respawned with the same class as the player died with.
  • Fixed an issue where spawn screen could appear at the start of the next game round if killed exactly when the last game ended.
  • Fixed wrong number shown for coins in player UI when initiated with zero coins.
  • Fixed a problem where live stats are not shown on clients.
  • Fixed an issue where the player could easily be killed by the spawn procedure on Fractured Street level.
  • Fixed an issue where boosts bought by client players were not always received on the server.
  • Fixed an issue in matchmaker UI showing wrong states when the state was changed rapidly.
  • Fixed an issue where the player could be left without a party if the internet connection was lost for a while.
  • Fixed an issue where the edge in the battle royal game mode wasn't using the correct damage function and could cause the wrong team to win.
  • Fixed so that jump stamina is full when the player spawns instead of empty.
  • Fixed an issue where the particle effect on coin pickup appeared in the wrong place.
  • Fixed an issue where dialogue windows were rendered behind the pause menu.
  • Fixed an issue with the character not rotating to target rotation when switching between locker and lobby in the main menu.
  • Fixed an issue where changed gear was not displayed on the character after leaving locker.
  • Fixed an issue where archer referenced animation states that could be null while being in the ragdoll state.
  • Fixed an issue where the player could be stuck while connecting to the host.
  • Fixed an issue where a network entity was never removed.
  • Fixed so that the dome wall worked correctly with the new network system.
  • Made bots target players to kill even when they are far away.
  • Added missing material to lights in the tutorial room.
  • Added missing icon for booster and game mode.
  • Raised health platform on the Quarry level to make progress indicator visible.

Other

  • Added a more simple loading screen.
  • Nerfed speed booster.
  • Changed prices for all boosters to add a better balance.
  • Changed the drop rate of powerup crates on all levels to drop less often.
  • Made tutorial door scale so that it does not clip through the walls.
  • Add missing meshes underneath the platform on Arena12 to make presentation look better.
  • Changed ping warning thresholds.
  • Project cleaning and maintenance to speed up future work.
  • Updated all player portraits to match the new design better.
  • Rewrite system that combined clothes and appearances of players to increase the performance of the system.
  • Changed behavior of jump stamina.
