Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug, where an enemy hovering too high on Planet 3 (Miro), making him unreachable.
  • Fixed a bug, where Laser SMG, Sniper, Scout Rifle, or Laser Beam Gun could deal double damage.
  • Fixed a bug, where a corrupted save file could block pressing the Start Game button.
    • The game will now inform you that a file is corrupted, and you can keep playing on another save slot or overwrite the corrupted one.

  • Fixed a bug, where POI’s like Perks, Ammo Boxes or Dimensional Rifts, spawned at unreachable positions.
  • Fixed a bug, where you could fall into or out of dimensional rifts.
  • Fixed a display bug, where the class skill tree would show that an upgrade cost 30 neuropods.
  • Fixed a display bug, where numbers could overlap in the Skill trees or in your HUD.
  • Fixed a bug, where the rat drone would be stuck in the stun animation.
  • Fixed a bug, where the reaper enemies could deal instant damage to the player by warping on top of their head.
  • Fixed a bug, where enemies could drop / appear in a shop and could block your run.
  • Fixed a bug, where you would not correctly see how many skill points are available until you skill for the first time.
  • Fixed a bug, where the “Gunner in time” Mission would only give you 1 Neuropod instead of 2.
    • If you previously completed the mission, you will be rewarded with 1 Neuropod on starting the game.

  • Fixed a bug where the Sniper could not deal damage to the environment, when you selected the Armor-piercing Ammunition.


Changes

  • From now on, when binding keys there will only one single window pop up, and you can immediately bind your keys.
  • The pattern selection is now controllable with the mouse.
  • Time Dimensional Rifts have now a new reward that lets you select 1 out of 2 perks for free.
  • Life Dimensional Rifts give now always an XP-Capsule, letting you trade life vs a level up.
  • Dimensional Rifts no longer contain chests that give way too much of the nanobyte currency.
  • Dimensional Rifts have now different colors depending on their challenge.
  • Enemies can no longer take damage when you are not in their floor, preventing hitting them with AoE from a floor below.
  • Improved hit detection on the Laser SMG.
  • XP-Capsules now give you as much experience as needed to get a level up, which makes them more valuable, if you recently leveled up and less valuable if you are about to hit the next level.


Balancing

We did a balancing pass over currencies with price changes and how many you would get in a single run. This way we want to make them more valuable and your choices, how to spend them more impactful.
On top, permanent upgrades like Start-Capital and the Nanobyte-Safe become more important.
  • Increased shop perk prices
    • Planet 1: 20 → 50
    • Planet 2: 30 → 80
    • Planet 3: 80 → 100

  • Health pack shop prices
    • Planet 1: 20 → 30
    • Planet 2: 20 → 60
    • Planet 3: 20 → 100

  • Upgrading weapons +1 Tier
    • Planet 1: 50 → 70
    • Planet 2: 120 → 150
    • Planet 3: 150 → 200

  • XP-Capsule shop prices:
    • Planet 1: 50 → 70
    • Planet 2: 125 → 140
    • Planet 3: 250 → 200
