A Hero Returns
- Milady is Back! While she was away, she got in touch with her Inner Fencer, and brings a whole new set of abilities to decimate the forces of Umbra.
- She comes with a Stance mechanic. You'll be able to jump between Strike Stance (+2 damage on every hit) and Guard Stance (+2 Shield on every hit) and have a kit of cards that benefit for the stance you're using.
Balance Changes
- Campsites reduced to 25% for whole team, and 50% for one hero.
- Immune stacks all end at the start of your turn, just like Shields. (This change is going to impact a lot of leons cards, which will need another pass which we are getting to this week)
- Sun Circlet now has a heal cap of 10, any burn beyond that will still damage you.
- Added a 1 time Reroll options to the Trainer, Forge, and Alchemist.
- Removed Pre-Empty tiles, filled them with more campsites, shops, and battles.
- Loot Caches no longer barf 3 ability cards at random, funking up the deck vibes. You now get 1 Artifact Pick3, and 1 Ability Pick3. Loot Cache Rarity sets the roll odds for what kind of cards you'll find inside.
- Regular battles all give 2 ability cards now.
- Shards and Bosses no longer provide Intel of the surrounding nodes on the map.
- Moved the Shield icon back to the left of the Health bar.
- No longer showing Stone cards during the run, but you'll see the at the end of run details.
- Transmute windows now shows a Hero portrait if the card is currently equipped.
- Transmuting an ability now gives you a Pick3 as well.
- Balance is going to be an ever changing and ongoing process, but we made a few tweaks, which we'll continue to tweak.
- Heroes start with less HP, providing more threat to your team, and making the +HP Essence upgrades more appealing.
- Enemies have slightly more Health.
Bug Fixes
- Reckoning changed from Leon, now deals damage per immuned ally.
- At the rewards screen after a battle, you'll no longer be able to equip cards in your backpack. You can use the Equip buttons under each card, or continue to the map, and use the backpack normally.
- Sun Circlet artifact will now hide any Burn preview damage on the assigned hero.
- Fixed Trainer upgrade costing less when using the Blessing (Charisma) that reduces the costs of shop items.
- Stormcast Pendant can no longer lower your ULT card cost below 1 Fury.
- Eternal Lantern can no longer lower your ULT card cost below 1 Fury.
- Life Cycle fixed to provide shield around the caster in a splash.
- Apex Funk fixed! Apex's no longer scale damage / gold costs / essence banes in weird ways between runs. All sorted and working like a champ.
- Meteor Stoneplate no longer absorbs all damage in weird situations.
- Apex bane that removed finding pre-upgraded abilities chance changed to -50% upgrade chance.
- Bountyhunter's Satchel, Skullbasher, and Juggernaut no longer proc 75% of the time. (whoops)
- Jakkir shield bug where heroes couldn't target anything is fixed.
- Fixed Reconstruct passive on Setek (Scarab Super Elite) from only healing the very last instance of damage.
- Hazard Bane is functional, on apex 12.
- Fixed Stun from lasting for 2 full turns on the enemies.
- Fixed Skaros Chakram from damaging your allies, heh troll move.
- Life Cycle from Angorn once again provides the Shieldsteal to your allies in a splash correctly.
- Fixed new bug with Heartseeker arrow not triggering bonus damage to poisoned targets
- Fixed Shell Company from transmuting an ability, instead now transmutes an artifact.
- Fixed a ton of little bugs and weird things that were messing with the experience.
