Hey everyone!

Here are the patch notes for v0.82. This update focuses mostly on balancing, polishing, bug fixes, and optimizations. The next patch will focus on adding new content, so stay tuned!

v0.82 Patch notes

  • Added Tellie:

  • All 74 skills (not including combined skills) are now separated into categories, allowing for more controlled spawning. This reduces the likelihood of getting irrelevant skills. Trinkets that require specific synergies are also categorised

  • The more enemies you defeat on a floor, the more likely loot will drop (Resets every floor)

  • Increased enemy loot drop chances and enemies now have a chance to drop more than 1 loot

  • Player will now always start in the furthest room away from stairs on boss floors

  • Reduced average number of enemies on some floors

  • Shortened first area's dungeon length slightly

  • Reduced damage slightly for early enemies

  • Increased health slightly for later bosses

  • Increased item and gold spawn rate from breaking Crates slightly

  • Spell: Empower now increases first attack damage by 15%, down from 20%

  • [spoiler] Fairy's stats now scale with area [/spoiler]

  • Water tiles are now animated

  • Added Dialogue SFX

  • Improved Add Trinket Popup VFX

  • Improved Add Skill Popup VFX

  • Improved Combined Skill glow

  • [spoiler] Added shop upgrade unlock pop up [/spoiler]

  • Minor improvements to enemy defeat animation

  • General UI optimization

  • Fixed bug with player inventory not resetting between runs

  • Fixed bug with "current room" not being set correctly

  • Fixed bug with secret rooms not being revealed properly

  • Fixed bug with stairs occasionally not being disabled after defeating a boss

  • Fixed visual bug with Shopkeeper dialogue

  • Steam Achievements should now be set and checked correctly even if achievement is achieved in game

  • Fixed music not replaying after leaving shop or secret room

  • Fixed minor SFX bugs
