Hi everyone, thanks for your continued interest in Shutter 2!
For better navigation of Kent Island Prison, I've decided to add in a brand new mini-map and objective system to help keep players focused in the early stages of the game. Special items and story notes will now get marked on your map if you come across them (both your pause map and in-game mini-map). A Compass has also been added into the mini-map to help players orient themselves regardless of whether they have chosen the static cameras or over the shoulder cam.
Key points for this update:
- added a new mini-map with directional compass for better navigation. (Map can be hidden with the 'M' key for those who prefer a more traditional experience)
- added an objective update system, areas of interest will now be highlighted on your pause map.
- cleaned up and simplified the intro tutorial for the game
- simplified some UI controls
- added a variety of animations for the ghost enemies
- altered attack strength for late game enemies to increase difficulty
- visual polish to various areas around the prison
- upgraded texture for shadow enemies.
