Girls Guns and Zombies update for 27 April 2021

Hello everybody!

We are very excited to announce that another major update "Weapons of Choice" is here!

With this update we are introducing a brand new Armory feature that will allow players to unlock many different weapons to use on scavenging run. A new resource type is also available for trade and scavenging. Additionally we are rolling out several fixes to issues that were discovered by our team.

A lot of work has been put into this update. We have completely redesigned the gunplay mechanic to allow for the new system integration into the gameplay.

Update Notes

Added:

• New Armory
  Players will now be able to access the Armory from the deployment screen.

• New resource type "Parts"
  Look for the blue smoke as you are scavenging the city. New "Parts" resource type can be collected or traded at the quartermaster. It is used to unlock new weapons in the Armory.

• New weapon stats system
  With this new system in place, each weapon now has different stats. Try them all out and see what works best for your play style!

• Lots of new gun sounds!
  The new and old guns go pew pew!

Adjustments:

• Resource spawn system adjusted
  The resource spawn system has been updated to support new functionalities.

• Player controller revised
  The player controller has been revised to support the new systems introduced with this update.

• Enemy AI revised
  The enemy AI has been updated to support the new systems.

Fixes:

• Fixed colliders on the city map in several places
• Fixed the issue with several resource spawn points where resources still would not respawn
• Multiple graphic fixes and updates to game interfaces

What is coming next!

We will now focus our development efforts on the new locations and game modes! We are planning to introduce a new location to travel on the tactical map that will feature a brand new game mode. Please stay tuned for more details as we will be sharing them later this week.
