Today’s major update introduces an all-new class, the Player! That’s you!
A war veteran with a sophisticated fighting style, this class requires strategic execution to assist the party and lay ruin upon the enemy! Being based on your player avatar, the Player will of course reflect that in their appearance as well!
The player character not only receives a cool new look, but a backstory and dialogue too. Being forced to work with Advent against their will, can they overcome their resentment for the organization to help find a cure for humanity?
You can keep your current save file, or start a fresh one to experience all of the new story elements! Whichever you choose, I hope you enjoy throwing yourself at the frontlines!

- Clearing this quest type serves as an unlock condition for the Player class and will only be available until said class has been unlocked

Heal Sting (White Ability) | 4AP
- Single-target attack
- Increase charge level by 1
- Leaves Heal Mark on the target
- Heal Mark (2 turn): The next party member to attack a target with Heal Mark will recover 35% HP
Pain Sting (White Ability) | 4AP
- Single-target attack
- Increase charge level by 1
- Leaves Pain Mark on the target
- Pain Mark (2 turn): The next party member to attack a target with Pain Mark will trigger a crit-ical attack if able
Cleanse Sting (Orange Ability) | 4AP
- Single-target attack
- Reduce charge level by 1
- Leaves Cleanse Mark on the target
- Cleanse Mark (2 turn): The next party member to attack a target with Cleanse Mark will be healed of all negative status effects
Mind Sting (Orange Ability) | 4AP
- Single-target attack
- Reduce charge level by 1
- Leaves Mind Mark on the target
- Mind Mark (2 turn): The next party member to attack a target with Mind Mark will recover 5AP
Mark Exilium (Gauge Ability) | 2GP
- Single-target attack
- Deal heavy damage to a target afflicted with any type of Mark. Cannot critical hit or trigger Mark effects.
Empiric Prediction (Passive Ability)
- 10/12/14/16/20% chance to trigger a random type of Mark on a random target every turn
Status Effects
- Added an animation for when Slowed is successfully applied
System
- Reworked several story- and feature-related cutscenes to include dialogue by the player
-More dialogue by the Player will be implemented in coming updates
- Any dialogue that has the player speak will also display their portrait to the left side
- Updated player character sprites
- Reworked the character creation process
-Existing players will be asked to choose an appearance again when loading their game post-update
- Bars displaying AP will be shown above those displaying HP outside of battle as well
- The meal counter attendant now clarifies that meal effects last for 20 turns
- Renamed Make Gift -> Give Gift in the coaching
Bug Fixes
- Adjusted position of weapons in combat to properly fit the increased sprite graphics
- Forest’s gifts will display their correct names in the coaching scene
- Corrected one instance of a missing portrait pertaining to Eucreta
