Daily Challenge Mode
- Every day at 0:00 GMT, a new single-player map and objective will be created
- All players playing the daily challenge will have the exact same map, civilization, start position, objective, and bot difficulty
- Results and new high score announcements are automatically posted to Discord
- Try multiple times to try to improve your score
Multiplayer Improvements
- Can play single-player while queued for a multiplayer game
- Can queue for a multiplayer game from the menu while already in a single-player game
- Multiplayer game results are announced on Discord if at least 2 players in the game are on Discord
Balance Changes
- Gold distribution now prioritizes cities before units. This makes it easier to starve enemy armies by cutting supply lines.
- Pillage removes maintenance costs from the pillaging unit for several turns
- Pillage now gives victory points as well as gold
- Barracks no longer prevents population consumption. Population is consumed from nearest city when building a unit
- Barracks must be built within 3 hexes of a city
- Barracks cost reduced
- Farms now produce 2 wheat instead of 1
- Farm cost increased
- Granary now immediately adds a population to the city and also produces 1 food per turn
- Granary cost increased
- Roads cost more to build on hills and forests
- Cities on hills receive an extra defense bonus
- Catapults can be captured with moves, not just attack advances
UI Improvements
- Many UI widgets moved and resized to be less cluttered
- New art assets for most UI widgets
- Can now right click to issue move orders
- Added toggle button to show all trade routes
- Added toggle button to show all maintenance routes
- Resource cards replaced with tokens
- Discard pile cards are now face up
- Discard pile cards can be viewed by mousing over it
- Cards saved for next turn are listed on mouseover
- Card shuffle animation when your discard pile is shuffled into your deck
- Detailed information panel when you mouseover a city's food and luxury bars
- Detailed information panel when you mouseover your hammers and gold
- Detailed information panel when you mouseover a resource in the trade panel
- Added hex "cards" with information about the selected hex including resources and defense bonuses
- Removed summary panel in the top right
- Unit banners have pips indicating the number of units on a hex
- Units have an indicator under them to make it more apparent what team they are on
- Card description improvements
- Unit cards on the selected hex are now clearly split between units that have orders and units that don't
- Cards that are added by tech cards no longer popup when you mouseover the tech card
- Road building path improvements
- Added screen resolution selection to game menu
Graphical Improvements
- New farm building
- Added cloud shadows

- Added post processing effects
- Borders are sharper

- Bots build a lot of things they used to not build

- Fixed a bug where catapults would not always attack when they should have
- Fixed issues with unit attack advances
- Fixed a bug where units could attack mountain and water hexes
- Fixed a texture glitch that could occur during combat animations
- Fixed a bug where units occupying enemy cities would only have 1 gold maintenance
