Corporate greetings everyone!

Our generous benefactors bring you a patch filled to the brim with quality of life updates, delicious visual and auditory treats, as well as much needed bug fixes.

We have noted a change in the tiny red cactus creatures' behaviour. They now seem to explode when attacking our employed Bitbots. This is fortunate in a way that they can only explode once, this stopping them from wreaking continued havoc.

In preparation for our deeper delve into this lucrative planet we are keeping much of the progress behind closed doors. The human appreciation for “surprises” are well documented. Prepare your excitement.

Gameplay

  • Added challenges to Acid Hop
  • Shortened alien invasion delay on Acid Hop
  • Reworked left lane in Turn up the heat
  • Increased alien spawn rate on Acid Pool from 0.2 to 0.3
  • Made platforms only spawn after “invasion has begun”-message
  • Slimes can now eat objects
  • Aggressive enemies now explode when attacking
  • Decreased throwing range when throwing aliens
  • Fixed deadzone bug for all turrets, improving their accuracy and limited min-range
  • Reworked throw mechanic to allow for better precision when throwing and using a controller

Audio

  • Updated music for Acid Biome
  • Added sfx for sliding and rolling objects

Bugs

  • Fixed collision for cosmetic items
  • Fixed crash related to physical audio
  • Fixed so that Slime boss shrinks correctly when damaged
  • Fixed errors with Minigun and Flamethrower when targeting dead or dying enemies




As the giant Brain in a jar mentioned we are preparing a large exciting update. If you look carefully you might even find a clue as to what it will contain! This, however, might make today's update feel less special and exciting.

Many of the fixes today are visual updates such as cinematic intros to levels. Clarifying gameplay elements with adding a giant lock on levels not yet playable. Fixing issues with, among other things, the turrets.
