Hello, friends! We are super excited to finally reveal our latest update! We’ve added the most anticipated features: cutscene skip and dialogue skip! We’ve also fixed hundreds of bugs and improved the overall look of the game.

The game will also go on sale with a 45% discount today (20.04.2021) at 10 AM PDT/20:00 MSK/19:00 CET!

Major changes

  • Added the ability to skip cutscenes (hold ‘F’ to skip)
  • Now you can ‘fast-forward’ the dialogues (press the right mouse button to do so)
  • Both of these features were very buggy at first, so it took us a while to fix all bugs and ensure everything worked properly.
  • Improvements:
  • Improved the game’s performance on weaker setups
  • Fixed the cat on level ‘Streets’: now it won’t be weirdly bright when it jumps from the crate
  • All characters wear proper backpacks in all cutscenes
  • Emily will stop losing her flashlight in the cutscenes
  • Updated the lighting on levels 4, 6, 8, 9, 10
  • Updated visual effects and Amber’s model on the level ‘Geekspot’
  • Updated the visuals and added more details on levels ‘Telestudio’. ‘Sewers’, ‘Subway’, ‘Drugstore’ (in manager’s office)
  • Fixed the UI on manager’s computer in ‘Drugstore’
  • Made new animations for Emily on levels 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
  • Updated the email UI on levels ‘Drugstore’ and ‘Geekspot’
  • Changed the skybox on level ‘Streets’
  • Added more visual details (posters, pictures, and stickers) on levels Broadcasting Station’ and ‘Metro’
  • Updated Brian’s AI in the stealth part of ‘Broadcasting Station’
  • Improved the shadows of objects on ‘Broadcasting Station’
  • Updated the AI of all characters on levels ‘Streets’ and ‘Sewers’ — they’ll no longer get stuck in ladders
  • Improved the game’s performance in the scanner section of ‘Drugstore’
  • Added an audio animation for all audio logs (the ones that you find on orange tablets)
  • Added a hint about controls on level ‘Sewers’ when you have to cross the sewage river.
  • Puddles will no longer reflect nearby objects when there’s no light source
  • Added more police aerocars to the final level
  • Improved cutscene lighting on levels 8, 9, 10, 11
  • The glass won’t hover on the final level
  • You can press the fridge’s buttons with a lower delay now on the ‘Drugstore’ level
  • Updated the texture of the Geekspot’s worker badge: now it shows the correct character’s name
  • When you pick up the mini-game robot, an additional pop-up will appear
  • We’ve added some more easter eggs! Death Note, Star Wars: The Fallen Order, Stranger Things, and others — try to find them all!
  • Updated LODs on ‘Broadcasting Station’ and the final level
  • Changed the placements of cars and objects in the third level’s stealth part
  • Now Matt sleeps in his own bed!
  • Reworked the QTE part of ‘Broadcasting Station’ level (the one where Emily can shoot the guard bot)


  • Fixed the puzzle’s interface on ‘Sewers’ level
  • Added new ‘fade in/out’ effects for puzzles on ‘Broadcasting Station
  • Updated the victory screen in the ‘Decoder’ puzzle
  • The puzzle’s hint will no longer stay on the screen if you open it when the puzzle ends
  • Added a victory screen to the ‘Prize Machine’ puzzle on ‘Geekspot’
  • Sounds:
  • Added the alarm and door sounds for the aerocar on ‘Broadcasting Station’
  • Added the mechanical arm sounds to the ‘Emily’s Dream’
  • Improved the sounds when you interact with Brian
  • Added the sounds for police robots on ‘Broadcasting Station’
  • Added the elevator sounds on ‘Broadcasting Station’ and the sounds for peaceful robots on the same level
  • Added click sounds to the ‘Larry’s Safe’ puzzle on Broadcasting Station
  • Added the sounds for scanners on ‘Drugstore’
  • Added footstep sounds in cutscenes on levels 1, 4, 6, 11
  • Updated the door sounds on levels 4, 9, 11
  • Update the interface and sounds for a puzzle on ‘Sewers’
  • Added the sounds for the ‘Energy Equation’ puzzle on ‘Broadcasting Station’
  • Added the boiler sound on level 2


  • Fixed the subtitle text when you inspect the robot on ‘Abandoned Warehouse’ level
  • Added the names for all found audio logs and notes when you view them through Emily's watch
  • Added the localization for the notes in Emily’s diary
  • Fixed the subtitle and voiceover discrepancies on levels ‘Subway’, ‘Hideout’
  • Updated description and hint for the ‘Safelock’ puzzle on ‘Geekspot’
  • Fixed the script for starting credits

Animations and cutscenes:

  • Updated all cutscenes:
  • Improved lighting
  • Improved cameras
  • Improved visuals and animations for character’s heads and their eyes
  • Updated shaders and textures for some surfaces on levels 4, 6, 9, 10, 11
  • Emily won’t blink in her sleep anymore
  • Updated the final level cutscene
  • Updated the ‘Abandoned Warehouse’ cutscene: now it properly shows Olga
  • Park won’t have duped headphones in the first level cutscenes
  • The spoon and tea bag won’t collide with the cup anymore at level 2.
  • Added a new animation for the sleep pills sequence
  • Improved the running animation when you turn on the laser in ‘Drugstore’

Bug Fixes

  • Sound settings won’t reset upon loading a save or changing levels
  • Tough Cookie’ achievement was fixed
  • Pausing in QTE won’t disable sound anymore
  • Leaving to the main menu on level load will properly stop the loading now
  • Fixed a bug when a high frame rate could prevent you from opening the subway car
  • Fixed a bug when you couldn’t load your saved games after an update
  • Fixed the trigger bugs on level 9 when you used an older saved game
  • Fixed a bug when you could get stuck in ‘Emily’s Dream’ if you loaded an older save
  • Fixed the broken QTE trigger on ‘Broadcasting Station’ if you used an older save
  • Fixed a lot of instances when an old save game could break scripts and other triggers inside the game
  • You can properly photograph graffiti with Emily’s watch now
  • Fixed the black screen on ‘Sewers’
  • Fixed a rare bug on ‘Sewers’ when the metallic door was open before the trigger occurred, resulting in a glitch
  • Fixed a rare occasion when the mouse cursor didn’t appear in puzzle UI
  • Dialogues now properly stop playing when you pause the game
  • Fixed the camera ‘out of bounds’ glitch on ‘Geekspot’
