Nova Genetics update for 10 April 2021

This patch focuses mostly on optimization. Currently it's planned to release at least one patch which focuses on optimization at least once in a 60 days time frame.

Changes

  • Revamped Ore Mine starting location.
  • Revamped Sapphirium/Silver cave mine.

Fixes

  • was possible to 'Hold' items directly from workbench storage.
  • One energy powered warp gate didn't teleport the player to the destination.
  • Trees blocked sometimes player capsule movement.
  • AI Skeletal hitboxes had invalid mapping. Hitting the head, causes body, not head damage.

Optimization

  • Grass Debris  triangels/ vertices improvement, should have no visible changes.
  • Grass Fern got triangels/ vertices improvement, should have no visible changes.
  • Mountains got  triangels/ vertices improvement, should have no visible changes.
  • All outposts props got triangels/ vertices improvement, should have no visible changes.
  • Small rocks got shadows and triangels/ vertices improvement, should have no visible changes.
  • Small trees got triangels/ vertices improvement, if mesh pop-in happens, will revert it back.
  • Grass Debris got shadows rendering improvement.
  • Small rocks got shadows rendering  improvement.
  • Small rocks collision channels were removed as there is no need to calculate collision on such a small object.
  • Starting large temple draw calls were reduced by 40%
