- • Iterated on Nakayubi's (the mouse girl) design a bit – let me know if she looks any better (I'm trying to get all the girls out of uncanny valley)
- • I added blinking + a blinking sound effect to Hitsuji's (the sheep girl) idle animation
- • The player should no longer spawn on top of the door when leaving Debi's (the slime girl) house
Unfortunately, this is all that I'm able to do at this time because my hands are completely shot right now (I have some pretty serious overuse injury in both hands from working so much, so it severely limits what I can focus on and how much work I can do at a time, otherwise I'd just keep working indefinitely like a robot)
It will be maybe another few weeks before I release another (major) build because there are so many different things that I have to fix or improve on:
- • Redo all the level design so that it doesn't look like crap, and also so that each level coherently meshes together when traveling between them
- • Redo and iterate upon most / all the character designs so that they don't look so uncanny, as has been mentioned in the reviews
- • Implement more than just the bare minimum of content and functionality so that the player doesn't get funneled into a completely linear gameplay
- • As well as fix / improve upon all of the other things that were mentioned in the reviews, screenshots, comments, etc
I suppose that 2 and a ¼ years isn't so bad for the amount of progress that I have made so far – I wish I could do more, but I'm severely limited by overuse / repetitive strain injury.
Anyways, thank you for following the development of Monster Girl Dungeon!
