THE INQUISITION UPDATE
These are all changes based on the feedback from our amazing community! Thank you everyone for your continued support, we couldn’t do it without you all! <3
With this update, we have made some changes to the roadmap to better reflect the current stage of development.
Features
-- You can now view your run history!
Every run you finish is now logged on the Stats tab in the Compendium, to be viewed at any time. Check how you did on your runs, who you had on your party, the relics you got, show off your victories to your friends!
-- Key binding is now available!
You can now make custom key binds to maximize your pro gamer moves.
Fixes
-- Fixed Virgil’s Blessing giving a level 1 unit instead of a level 0 unit.
-- Fixed c16 Hero unit losing 200 HP instead of 500 HP.
-- Fixed scenario not showing before entering the first node.
-- Fixed winning Corruption 20 not registering as Steam achievement.
-- Fixed Shield Throw’s infinite loop.
-- Fixed boss death on c20.
-- Ephemeral units now won’t be considered when resurrecting the last dead unit.
-- Fixed camera flipping upside down (no more rollercoaster runs).
Gameplay Changes
-- Shield won’t go down every second anymore.
-- Added Crucial status to cards (cards with Crucial will be drawn first at the start of the combat).
-- Added Endure status (each point diminishes the damage taken by 10%).
-- Added Confusion status (unit will target its enemies).
-- Dead units now can’t be moved to the bench.
-- Added nine new options to Virgil’s Blessing.
-- You can now get Virgil’s Blessing even if you did not reach the first boss in the previous run.
-- Virgil’s Blessing’s rewards are now scalable with how you did in the previous run (reaching the boss of the first Circle gives you the strongest rewards).
-- Ephemeral units now won’t inherit the original unit’s statuses.
Card Changes
-- Shell now gives shield instead of damaging a random enemy.
-- Reduced Shield Throw’s cost from 2/1 to 1/0.
-- Reduced Area Shield’s value from 75/115 to 50/75.
-- Reduced Spiked’s cost to 0.
-- Reduced Random Shield’s value from 50 to 35.
-- Reduced Shield All’s value from 50/75 to 35/50.
-- Reduced Spiked Armor’s shield value from 75/115 to 50/75.
-- Reworked Eagle Eye (it now gives 100 mana when an ally uses a skill).
-- Reduced Armory’s value from 50/75 to 30/50.
-- Reduced Might All’s value from 75/115 to 35/50.
-- Reduced Bound All’s time from 3/5 seconds to 2/4 seconds.
-- Reworked Purgatory (it now deals damage to all allies and gives you 3 Energy, discards your hand and draws a new one. No more infinite Energy from clones).
-- Raised Shield All’s value from 15/25 to 20/35.
-- Reworked Hand Ritual (you can now select which card you want to deplete).
-- Reduced Bloodshot’s damage from 20/30 to 10/20 and shield from 100/150 to 75/115.
-- Raised Empower’s value from 50/75 to 75/115 and raised its Splash duration from 1/2 seconds to 2/3 seconds.
-- Raised Might All’s cost to 3.
-- Added Carbon Skin (gain shield every second for the rest of the battle).
-- Added Powerlifting (draw all cards with the word Might from your discard pile. They cost -1 this turn).
-- Added Hollow Armor (transform all shield into into Might).
-- Added Berserk (gain Might every second for the rest of the battle).
-- Added Mighty Deck (gain Might for every card with the word Might in your deck).
-- Added Fist of Midas (gain Might equal to your current gold).
-- Added Overflow (this combat, every time a unit gains Might, deal the same value as damage to a random enemy. Deplete).
-- Added Conjuring (remove the Might of all units in your party, deal damage equal to the value removed to all enemies).
-- Added Blood Card (take damage, draw a card. Long live Pixel Cattle Games).
-- Added Bloodletting (this turn, whenever an ally unit is damaged by a card, it gets healed instead).
-- Added Spiked Spine (for the rest of the combat, Spikes won't go down).
-- Added Spiked Shield (transform the current Shield into Spikes).
-- Added Sharp Hand (transform all cards in your hand into Spiked).
-- Added Forked (triple the current Spikes).
-- Added Spicate (units with Spikes will gain the stacked amount as shield when Spikes is triggered).
Unit Changes
-- Units will now spend their mana at the beginning of skill usage, instead of at the end.
-- Changed Gargoyle’s skill (it now gains Endure and shield).
-- Marble Gargoyle’s Stonemason skill now gives an extra clone on Sentinel II instead of Sentinel I.
-- Marble Gargoyle’s Overseer mana bonus reduced from 3/3/4.5 to 1/2/2.
-- Marble Gargoyle’s base mana changed to 10 (there. Marble Gargoyle’s party is over).
-- Mighty Preacher is now an Inquisitor unit instead of an enemy unit.
-- Added Beholder in the place of Mighty Preacher as an enemy unit.
-- Added Light Preacher (gives more max health to all allies and also gives Protect).
-- Added Minos (Taunts enemies and gains shield).
-- Added Red Minos (inflicts Fracture and can apply Taunt to target).
-- Added Albino Minos (summons Griffin).
-- Added Griffin (inflicts Fracture on the target).
-- Added Melancholic Doctor (inflicts Fear on all enemies and can also inflict Decay).
-- Added Sanguine Doctor (inflicts Confusion and can knock back the target).
-- All units got a small stats change.
Alliance Changes
-- Added Brute alliance (all allies have a 3% chance of inflicting Fracture to their target when attacking).
-- Added Bulker alliance (whenever an ally uses a skill, it gains Endure).
-- Added Tinker alliance (start each turn with a random Artifice card in your hand).
Relic Changes
-- Chameleon Milk will now upgrade the transformed cards.
-- Added Hand of Glory (upon pick up, choose a card in your deck. Add Crucial to this card).
-- Added Witch Bottle (Everytime you draw a Burden, all allies gain shield).
Event Changes
-- Event options now show the lore text first.
Option Changes
-- Added option to mute audio when game is running in the background.
-- Added option to disable unit’s HP bar.
-- Added screen shake option.
-- Added option to disable blood particles.
Quality of Life
-- Added map legend.
-- Added description tooltips to events that give you cards.
-- You can now target the ally units’ portraits (enemies’ portraits will be added soon).
-- Added more game speed control (you can now go slower as well as faster).
-- Removed satanism.
