Rogue State Revolution update for 26 March 2021

We got a whopper of an update that's just gone live on the main branch. Containing new content 🏙️ and bug fixes ⚙️. We're excited to see your feedback on this.

Let's get straight into what these patch notes include.

UPDATE 1.1

New content

🏙️When all resources have been surveyed, uncertain resources pins despawn and players can prospect for new deposits for $100.
🏙️Tier 3 surveyors now have a chance that new deposits prospected include resources not previously present in Basenji (including uranium!)
🏙️All cities now grow in population (and workers) over time.
🏙️Immigration demand for stable countries slightly nerfed in response to the potency of the above.
🏙️Resource producing building job demands slightly decreased.
🏙️Non-resource producing building job demands slightly increased.
🏙️Maximum trade balance for free trade agreements set.
🏙️Rebalancing of trade quantity thresholds.
🏙️Al-Hadi Minister effect nerfed to 1% every five months.
🏙️Green Economy far less desirable for conservatives.
🏙️Sustainability increases polluting building costs by 50%.
🏙️Green Economy increases polluting building costs by 100%.
🏙️Facilities inspector and intelligence officer move speed increased.
🏙️Removal of airport-specific Ministry of Transportation policies.
🏙️Two new Ministry of Transport policies: Permit Self-Driving Cars and Deregulate Taxis
🏙️Negotiate trade dialogue redesigned.
🏙️Trade agreements can always be adjusted upward at no penalty if relationships improve.
🏙️Trade agreements can always be adjusted downward for a 3% relationship penalty to a minimum of 10 goods/turn.
🏙️Minor adjustment to the tutorial to facilitate the above.
🏙️Camera rotation and panning can be sped up with the SHIFT key.
🏙️Setting added to disable movement range highlights.
🏙️Non-repeating space missions explicitly are described as such.
🏙️Selected ministers continue to share their provincial, political, and religious views.

Bugfixes

⚙️Crash bugfix: Tier 3 surveyor pathfinding calculations were stalling older CPUs.
⚙️Crash bugfix: Wrong call button was disabled when at war and Qarif independent.
⚙️Crash bugfix: The game was removing citizens without updating the tile population array.
⚙️Crashfix where the game was removing citizens without updating the tile population array.
⚙️Army base tutorial sequence glitch resolved.
⚙️Attractiveness from buildings was not updating immediately upon construction.
⚙️Museum wings are now specific to each museum.
⚙️Museum wing statuses are restored on the loaded game.
⚙️Chemical weapons now work, you monster.
⚙️Space program now shows accurate information on the space program, including on game load.
⚙️BLF HQ will no longer one-shot the Glorious Leader, badass as it may be.
⚙️Fixed an issue where the fog of war would not update properly after a unit is sent home from war.
⚙️Fixed an issue with movement range highlights when two calculations are called at the same time.
⚙️Qarif will no longer congratulate you on an election you didn't win.
⚙️Policy art will update when el-Kamali changes political direction.
⚙️Minister Morcos can now receive favor points.
⚙️Units will untarget a country after war has ended.
⚙️Wildlife will no longer leave Basenji's borders.
⚙️Wildlife will no longer attempt to use tunnels.
⚙️Extreme edge-cases for resource generation resolved.
⚙️Approval graphs accessed from the budget no longer have an orange tint.
⚙️The diplomacy UI will no longer be closed with ESC if you're in the middle of a dialogue.
⚙️Calling a neighbor is disabled when calling is not permitted.
⚙️Armistices can not be called when unit orders are being processed.
⚙️UNESCO heritage sites can no longer be destroyed by events.
⚙️Audio latency increased for older CPUs.
⚙️Localization update.
⚙️Dozens of smaller changes that did not make it on this list.
⚙️Museums were not showing their icons when the player was low on cash.
⚙️Gold bars are now showing in the trade dialogue again.
⚙️City growth and immigration rates increased further.
⚙️Missing icon restored for deregulating taxis.
⚙️Fixed an edge-case where the endgame would not trigger if specific conditions were in place.
