This is a huge milestone in the "Arizona Derby' game, it follows some player's feedbacks and totally improves the place where you will spend time tweaking, tuning, customizing, and buying new rigs, check them in person, and plenty of cool stuff.

The game gets ready for its new Season, now in Caribbean styles, all with big Menu changes and brand new vibes coming along, for enjoying the most intense racings ever.

Boys and girls welcome to the Tikiii!!:

(Final trailer has been updated with billboard changes and the introduction of the girl's character).

This patch bringing a new simplified garage scene which is now cleaned of the old train factory and instead shapes of Tiki Islands can be seen, this patch following news where you can read more about that: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/661290/view/4861045584429590465

On the optimization side, it's a big milestone, since will fix some problems with delayed loading and too much RAM used, since the previous menu was overcomplex in objects. This means that racing will also become fast with blazing fast loading times, better than any other racing games so far (this has always been the advantage of AD and now will become supreme).

First and foremost, meet the Katie

She's fully interactive and will become your best friend in the game, like in no car games before. She will be your guide on the Tiki Islands and bear with you during customizations and other works, also lately will be possible to take her for a ride in a car:

Katie is fully interactive in the menu's and she can be anywhere set, no matter walking, sitting, dance, celebrate with you, or even jogging around the islands while waiting for you to pimp your ride. She's coming from an automotive family and she's fully expertized in the wildest off-road driving.

Billboard videos and other sequences now featuring Katie around and also there's toucan bird, who's fully interactive in the menus, as it flies around, examining, even washing in the Caribbean oceans.

Extreme RAM improvements

Finally, with the new garage both menu and racing, taking more than double less of the RAM (even before previous bigger optimizations). So it's only 2.24GB of the RAM used, menu scene:

And racing scene consumes only 2.4GB:

Before this numbers, as of game complexity goes over 10 even 15GB in some cases, so this is heavily optimizations to boost fps at each rig, so more people enjoy AD on high settings.
This will fix issues some players have, when unable to start the game, endless loading screens, etc, enable much smoother performances on lower rigs and plenty of other benefits, including even faster loading of levels.

1. Menu and Garage Extreme Improvement

The menu and UI s simplified, a lot of unnecessary options and features are moved from the menu, with a focus on easier navigation, tuning, upgrading, and customizations of the cars. RAM used is much lower, having in mind that tracks loaded even before blazing fast (comparing to some racing games where you need to wait like up to a minute to load some track and get back), now this will be moved to another level and will be almost seamless, which will make you enjoy in racings instead of loading.

Menu looks now like a typical racing game, simplified (too much of design is unneeded), so you can enjoy Tiki Island Caribbean views:

Delivery (old 'Reward') System has been also redesigned:

Cars are now, due to more light, brighter an shading more cooler:

Btw, soon ADriver, your avatar will be able to enjoy in third/fps in these islands and garage and check cars from close views.

Cars menu is simplified, so you can fastly tweak, tune and buy more parts and cars:

Customizations options narrowed:

Car tune is now cooler place for tweaking the performances:

ADriver stands updated:

ADrone system where you choosing which drones you'll fly:

Overall, the total scene and UI were changed, which will bring in a much vivid experience.

AD Spaces, where you can check leaderboards and more of the options lately, looks like:

Menu will be displayed a little lower on the upper right corner and will looks like this:

Old Spoiler Menu has been improved visually and looks like this with the new image when no spoiler chosen:

There is new Delivery Card Booster cinematics:

Final cinematics featuring Katie.

XP rewards in the game has been rebranded heavily, everything is in the hype of new more vibrant color vibes of the game and now it looks like this:

2. Total Remake of the Color Customizations

Color customizations and custom car wrap tunings now being changed and look much better than in many racing games.

All this is redone for you to feel more natural while enjoying tweaking rigs, there's full realistic shading of the colors on the palette and you can pick up, see how it looks on a car, or change it:

Before this menu was called 'Tweaking' and the new name is chosen to help you get on in the new simplified menu. Also, menu customization options are differently set, from body coloring on the top to the details as the rim, spoilers sets, etc.

Final customization options looks like this:

3. Sound, musics, and too much of audio tuned/removed

As part of the overall fine-tuning process to address all the player's feedback and optimization and following some of the player's feedback, that was too much of the audio, music's and fx mixings, this is all fine-tuned and balanced in menus. Too much of the rap soundtrack was removed, the menu's theme is more vibrant, music that fits Caribbean islands atmosphere, like other racing games and there, are no music changes in different menu's which will take you to flow through the game much cooler.

Until today, Arizona Derby featuring 128 licensed soundtracks for the game and about 15 rap soundtracks that are custom made for the game (people who preferer the rap genre can get that soundtrack on Store). After months of thinking (even years) it is definitely chosen option to cut over 100 soundtracks (and all rap soundtracks) for many reasons, most important is optimizations, since extreme RAM intake from 128 soundtracks (and 1000s of other sounds in-game).

Also, for some people annoying vocals ("Good Jump!", etc.), while in-game is no more.

Another reason for this is to opt-out of too many voice soundtracks, so 23 soundtracks that were left, was some of the less intrusive, less vocal soundtracks, so players will flow with the coolest vibes or opt-out of any sounds. Most of them are perfect for the racing and selected by the player's feedbacks over the period.

Also, at in-game-HUD, a little cool music player was removed:

since no need for just a few tracks now, and Arizona Derby isn't about any music style or a particular genre, it's just about racing and cool feelings.

4. Tropical Storm and Siberia Run's scenes dramatically optimized

Also, this patch largely optimizes 12 tracks at Tropical and Siberia maps, where fps increase get almost doubled, also some visuals are improved:

5. Delivery Cards system cinematics has been added

After the Daily/Hourly Delivery card picked up, you'll see some cool cinematics:

Probably there will be also someone in the bar.

6. ADriver Emotes in Menu

To make your Tiki Islands Garage cooler to be and tune, ADriver, who standing near the car will become more fun. He'll be doing, from time to time, some of the 100s of emotes while staying in the menu like:

7. Canada tracks are being optimized additionaly

Two of not so optimized Canadian tracks are now much more optimized.

8. Loading Screens Optimisations

Loading screen that appears before tracks and menu's loading is being heavily optimized.
Before it features about 50 high-quality 4k action screenshots from the game, which was way too heavy and it's opted out in favor of the smoothest flow. So together with that 110 reduced soundtracks, these 50 4k screens will be significant RAM and overall fps improvements!

Since a lot of things are cut from the game, for everyone to be able to enjoy on high and stable FPS, a really huge amount of things being reduced (tons of level assets, like more of the hot-air balloons, dynamic clouds systems, etc. Things are changed, polished, and finally optimized. together with removing the old factory garage, so from now one expecting blazing fast speeds anywhere in the 'Arizona Derby'.

9. Disk Space Additionally Lowered down to just 14.3 GB

Greetings from Tikiiii, till the next ride.
