Major improvements

  • Villages now offer gameplay. They start in an occupied state and must be freed. They will offer quests after freeing them, which increase loyalty. Loyalty unlocks buildings that you can use wood to build that provide various benefits. The only effective way to get more population is by recruiting through villages.
  • Units now move in formation properly
  • Telekinesis can now grab enemy shields and weapons, depending on upgrade level
  • Telekinesis now previews with a ghost object which makes it a little easier to tell if you can hit a target or not
  • Reduce loading times by about 7 seconds on Random Maps: Ice, Desert, Hills. Forest not improved.

Minor improvements

  • Fix showing quantity in white while the color of a reward was not white
  • Later game bosses are less likely to show up early game
  • Fix no catapults in Human Bandit variation from RoamingHordeLairVariationDefinition
  • Add / improve loading screen tips
  • Units on map are more likely to stay still and less likely to attack
  • When a unit is able to be researched, we now animate the lock icon with a different color to show it is interactable.
  • Reduce material usage in linear mission 1, causing performance problems for some systems
  • Fix enemies starting aware of friendlies when they should not be
  • Fix avatar melee weapon not hitting walls
  • Fix staff attack tutorial message
  • Fix bug where summoner would just stand around rather than follow formations
  • Add hints in 4 different places you can press alt to dodge with any weapon
  • Avatar city no longer shows quest details, to avoid confusion that the city is under attack
  • You can no longer use your weapon in villages during peace
  • Fixed minotaur attack not using stamina
  • Fix dungeon hybrid, melee bosses not having extra HP or setting boss tag
  • Fix trees having top colliders too low, resulting in AI getting stuck if the tree was scaled smaller
  • Fixed units immediately attacking in the second map, and the enemies leaving their base when they should stay there
