Alpha 0.2.2 has been released!

Savegame compatibility warning. Games from older versions are compatible, but there has been a correction regarding the life span of people. Saved games from previous versions may get a sharp reduction of population after the first month in the game and it may take a few more months for the population to finish adjusting.

What’s included in version 0.2:


  • New private zoning: Fishing.
  • New models: fishing wharfs.
  • New product and new info layer: Fish.
  • Added fishing tutorial.
  • Private farming demand is now Food demand (which includes farms and from fishing wharfs).
  • New type of building (city market): Fish Market.
New Region: Tiamat

New Housing Level

  • A higher level of houses has been added. It requires better services in the area and it will appear when there is already some demand for better housing from the workers with better jobs.
Building tools

3 new tools to help building the city in a more orderly manner:

  • Show guiding Lines. It will help to align a building to others already placed.
  • 90º rotation steps. From any starting angle, the building to be placed will only rotate in 90º steps.
  • Copy rotation. Apply the rotation of an object to next one to be placed.
Other improvements
  • Added new models for the private workshops zoning (brewery/tavern).
  • Citizens now have real sumerian names.
  • Slighty optimization of palm trees.
Bugs and corrections
  • Some mechanics regarding the life span of the population were not working correctly. There were citizens who just weren't dying of old age and could have be living even for hundreds of years. In saved games from previous version this will be corrected after the first month of the game and may result in a very high mortality event.
  • Fixed: Storage buildings not getting empty properly.
  • Fixed: Another issue of citizens crossing walls.
  • Fixed: After removing a mud pit, the ground could not be painted as path.
  • Fixed: Some reeds plants were still persistent after changing to a different map.
  • Other minor texts and GUI corrections.
