Hey Landlords!
We're back with a bigger patch this time. We've spent the last 24 hours browsing through your feedback and reports, and we've managed to address a few key issues.
Gameplay:
- Reworked mouse input to be more consistent in renovation. Players should now be able to consistently place new furniture, floors and walls.
- Applying new floors and walls will now cost (or offer a reimbursement) the difference in price between the currently placed material & the one being placed right now. For instance: using a $40 paint over a $20 wallpaper will now only cost $20. Laying the $0 default concrete over a $60 carpet will reimburse you $60.
Jobs:
- Tweaked Uncle Steve's tutorial job so that it always yields enough cash for installing electricity later on.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue with the furniture highlight not working immediately after purchasing items.
- Fixed an issue with multifloor / wall painting not working on the first selected tile.
Optimization:
- Optimized static geometry batching to be faster. Certain configurations should see up to 15% improvement in their FPS.
