Hard mode
Our goal is for DEVOUR to have plenty of replayability. That being said, we understand that Nightmare mode is brutally challenging and has only been completed by our more hardcore players.
From today you can now play a new Hard mode which sits inbetween the existing modes.
- Normal: The base difficulty. Unchanged.
- Hard: New! UV flashlight has reduced capacity and regen speed. (Beat Normal to unlock)
- Nightmare: The hardest difficulty. Unchanged. (i.e. No UV flashlight). (Beat Hard to unlock)
New Robes
Hard Robe: Unlocked by completing the new Hard mode

Nightmare Robe: Unlocked by completing the Nightmare mode. (This replaces the old bloody robe)

Fire Robe: Unlocked by completing the "Twisted Firestarter!" achievement (Lit altar 100 times)

New Achievements

Lobby Redesign
In order to make room for new robes, characters and maps we have redesigned the Lobby UI. While we do plan to improve other parts of the UI, the Lobby has always been our priority.

Other changes
- Reworked crawling on stairs so that it feels smoother and does not rotate players incorrectly
- Improved the animation for when players are carrying objects
- UV gauge visuals improved to show empty capacity
- Displays a message when a player disconnects from a game
- Improved jumping audio sounds
- Improved various dialogue audio that was clipping or distorted
- Demon spawn/fry/banish audio improved
- Lowered the outdoors weather volume slightly
- Red basement door is no longer interactable when on the ground
- Fixed a case where Anna could get stuck near the stable by the altar
- Goats will no longer try to reach dropped hay when inside of a locked room
- Fixed an issue where players could be held by a despawning demon just after the 10th goat is burned
- Various tweaks to reduce GPU memory requirements by optimizing textures
