THE TUTORIAL UPDATE
This update has a major focus on gameplay improvements based on your feedback as well as the newest string of planned game additions. At the end I will also list the next planned changes for the next update. Also these update changes are going to be in my new devlog video on the game later this week, so if you wanted to see them displayed in a video heres a link to the youtube channel

First, these are the most recent new additions to FADE: The First Chapter
- THE QUICK MENU - The quick menu was made based on feedback from players stating that it is difficult to maintain their companions HP while in combat and also keep track of their companions current status without having to pause the game. With this the player can slow the flow of combat for a moment to take some time to heal companions as well as tell them to follow or wait.
- NEW TUTORIAL - In place of the old tutorial which displayed the main character in their past life, the tutorial now better explains the players current situation and allows them a direct path towards the first Soul Mantle Boss. This will give players more direction and urgency to the story as it also leads directly into the opening of the game. Later on dialogue will be added to the opening to elaborate on this further.
THE SOUL MANTLE - Speaking of the Soul Mantle, the player will now be able to change their equipped weapon type skills as they go up in mastery level by speaking with specialist with each weapon type. Currently the player can learn new: Sword and Shield Skills, Two Handed Skills, and Bow Skills. In future updates the player will be able to recruit new trainers to learn even more skills.
NPC IMPROVEMENTS AND SHOP CHANGES - NPCs now have more informative dialogue options to help inform the player of possible options. This also includes giving the player access to two new companion types: Archers and Mages. Over the course of receiving feedback these npcs will be buffed and nerfed accordingly. The prices of certain items and placement of items in the world have been shifted to adjust to the new weapon stat changes.
ENEMY CHANGES - No screenshots for this mainly to make sure enemy changes come as a surprise for those new to the game as well as veterans. Different enemies have been given new skills to help them better fit into their archetypes: For Example - Assassin type enemies now have skills to reflect their knowledge, such as teleporting and throwing daggers. Overtime I plan to add even more specialized enemies to amplify the difficulty of the game.
Lastly, Heres a list of future additions planned to be added to the game. Each of these is ordered based on level of importance.
NEW AREA - BRIARSTONE COPSE - Briarstone copse is a once profitable town solely owned by the Briarstone Family. They faced dire issues fighting the Wildlings, this forces them to take in survivors in exchange for protection from the Baltane Fortress. Despite them being safer than before, their new allies causes a new threat to their way of life.
NEW AREA - BALTANE CASTLE - Once at a higher rank, the player will be capable to join the ranks of the Baltane Knights to take on tasks that only they have access to and get to an area of the map once off limits to them. Baltane Castle is the backbone of the people of the Baltane Valley and may hold one of its darkest secrets.
NEW AREA - THE RUINS OF FAL'RAH - A home once known to hold incredibly rare tools imbued with ancient magic has now become overrun with spirits summoned to protect the site. No one has been able to set foot within its chambers in a year, and now its your turn to try.
- NEW FIELD BOSSES - Each area will be given a random chance to spawn different field bosses based on time of day. The armored spider may be a rare enemy, but may even appear in the wild. The next mini boss planned to be designed is a roaming injured dragon.
