HQ is aware on the issues with the Steam Overlay. Steam users will encounter some difficulty accessing the load-up page as it utilizes the Steam Overlay system.

Our teams are now working on a fix to be delivered ASAP. In the meantime, we found a workaround to prevent issues with the Steam overlay. We recommend our Steam client users to run "Steam" as administrator.

Below are a few steps on how to run Steam as administrator.

How to Run Steam as Administrator from the Start Menu
1. Open Start.
2. Right-click the Steam icon
3. Select the More submenu, and click the Run as administrator option.

How to run Steam as administrator using Search
1. Open Start.
2. Type in "Steam" in the search box.
3. Navigate towards the searched app and Click the Run as administrator option from the right side. (Sometimes, the option is hidden until you click the down-arrow button.)

How to run Steam as administrator using desktop
1. Locate the Steam icon on your Desktop
2. Right click on the Steam icon to access the context menu.
3. Select the Run as Administrator from the menu.
