We recently released an interim update to Zelter, bringing it up to version 0.4.05. If you have not received this update automatically, please make sure to manually start the update now as we have fixed some nasty bugs, with a special focus on the ones that prevented you from starting the game properly.
Before listing the changes and the fixes, we would like to thank you all for your reports and messages, your continued diligence in reporting bugs and issues has helped to shape this update.
v0.4.05 Patch Notes
New Item - Bombs

You may have already seen this GIF on our social media channels, but perhaps you did not recognize it from the game itself - time to fix that!
We are happy to announce that we have added bombs to the game!
To craft a bomb, you will need "active cells" that can be found after defeating the Bio Bomb Zombies.
We can't wait to see how you will use these bombs, defensively while running away, setting up traps at choke points, or just for the explosive fun; how will you use the bombs?
Balancing Changes
- We have reduced the maximum number of zombies in the Northwest zone by 25%. At the same time, we have also (slightly) moved their spawn points.
System fixes
- We were able to fix several bugs that caused infinite loading. Please note that we have not fixed all of them yet (as there were multiple triggers for this bug). So if you still encounter them, please let us know.
Farming fixes
- We have fixed a bug that allowed you to duplicate potatoes when planting them.
- We have fixed a bug that caused the game to suddenly freeze after replanting potatoes.
- And finally, we have fixed the hoe so that it will now only dig up the ground, and not the floor in your shelter!
NPC Fixes
- NPCs have been modified to be visible only when you are on the same floor as them.
- The issue of NPC passing through the house has been fixed.
Other Changes
- We have fixed a problem where you could not climb specific staircases.
- Stairs have been added to the police station.
- The scrolling visuals in the production window has been slightly improved/modified.
Sound and Translation Fixes
- Sound effects to coincide with the boss's attacks have been added.
- We have fixed a bug that caused the sound to stop playing when a Bio Bomb Zombie explodes. We also increased the volume of the explosion sounds when the Bio Bomb Zombie explodes.
- Noise over distance has been modified to be more clearly distinguished.
- We have fixed an issue where translation was missing when assigning a mission to an NPC.
