Update notes via Steam Community
It's been a long time coming and the game has come a long way since EA release.
To celebrate, the game is now also on a sale, so it's a great time to get the game if you haven't already and to invite friends to play with you.

As mentioned in the release announcement, the game will continue to grow in content and is still in early access. So keep playing, giving feedback and help shape the game!

To put a few words and numbers on how far it has come, some of the changes are:
  • Complete graphics overhaul, updating almost all base textures
  • A bunch of accessibility features like zoom level and interface size
  • Twice the amount of bosses to defeat and reworked boss fights
  • Over twice the amount of monsters, over 3 times the amount of enemies
  • Twice the amount of items including weapons, trinkets and armor
  • Major performance improvements
  • Big improvements to multiplayer, hit detection, lag etc.
  • Completely new music

Again, thank you to everyone who's been playing, sharing and giving feedback. It's been a big help and please continue to do so!

In this next stage of early access, some of the more demanding features will start to get more attention. Modding being the big one, but also additional platform support and more progression content.

For everyone who's been playing experimental, you can check out the changelog for v0.20.38 at the very bottom.
If you're still playing on v0.19, I highly recommend starting a new world. There has been a bunch of changes and new world generation that you will benefit from.
