Update notes via Steam Community
Hello! I wanted first thank everyone for your support and feedback on the game. It's been amazing seeing how much you've all been enjoying the game. As a little thank you gift for you guys I've given all players a bonus 25 batteries that you can spend at the shop. With that said, let's get into what's new in this first post-release update:

  • Procedural Jumpscares: More on this later...
  • Ghost is more aggressive towards those who get too close.
  • Ghost now has a smoke trail.
  • Ghost will chase the last surviving player relentlessly.
  • The game log now will have different colors depending on what kind of event is happening.
  • New players will be prompted to look at the "How to Play" page before joining their fist game.
  • Added new cosmetic items: Cloning goo skin and face.
  • Fixed bug where players could not quit to menu after a game.
  • Fixed a bug where players who got disconnected would end up in limbo and need to restart the game.
  • Fixed a bug where sometimes special rooms would spawn on top of each other.
  • Fixed a bug where a special room's rotation was not synchronized across clients.
  • Fixed the "Amateurs" achievement.
  • Added a prompt to drop a player's flashlight to the UI.

Now, let's talk about the procedural jumpscares:
Every jumpscare, the spooky face and the sound of screaming, is now procedurally generated by AI. This means that every single jumpscare is entirely unique. Of course this being AI, it's not perfect, sometimes the spooky faces aren't quite spooky enough, but I think it's good enough to merit being a unique game feature that I haven't seen anywhere else.

As usual I look forward to hearing from you guys, keep those community discussions going! It really helps me a ton. And also regarding community, I've decided to create a discord channel where you guys can discuss the game as well as keep me informed of any bugs you might encounter but most importantly I want to hear what ideas you guys have! So go ahead and join via the link below, I look forward to chatting to you guys on the regular!

Sincerely,
Ben.
