The Day Zero 1.2 update is here! This update brings a massive amount of bug fixes and adjustments, while also adding a massive amount of features! Including multiplayer!


ADDITIONS::


  • Added gravity vector to ship.
  • Added display info for ships in the ship hangar.
  • Added method that blocks ship and vehicle hangars until the power has been turned online.
  • Added method that blocks Unity Network until the power has been turned online.
  • Added text to menu title button to make version changing more intuitive.
  • Added method to block save game if versions don't match. (This will not work with games saved before this update).
  • Added citizen NPCs
  • Added basic orbit simulations.
  • Added NPC's that give quests. They can be found in settlements on The Nexus and around different planets that are inhabited by sentient life.

  • Changed visibility for multiplayer button.
  • Changed intro customization to support Alien and Anima customization.
  • Changed intro character model to make it more obvious that you are an alien.

  • Changed crafting system to only use timestamps. This means that the progress bar has been removed.

FIXES::


  • Fixed an issue that threw off gravity vector depending on your speed.
  • Fixed an issue with tutorial widget scaling.
  • Fixed an issue that made character bounce off of ship.
  • Fixed an issue that showed map icon over players head instead of on minimap.
  • Fixed an issue that caused AI to stand still for a long time before moving.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented tutorial from showing crafting menu.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented character creation from showing up in v 1.1 campaign.
  • Fixed an issue that let player warp through planets if moving too fast.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented cheat codes from working.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented items from stacking in inventory.
  • Fixed an issue that added attachments to weapons that should not have attachments. This only applies to new games.
  • Fixed an issue that returned items to inventory on switch.
  • Fixed an issue while removing an attachment will would still allow you to drag the attachment icon throwing an error notification while adding an invalid item to your inventory.
  • Fixed an issue while removing an attachment from pistol can that caused the pistol to be removed from your hotbar and added to your inventory.
  • Fixed an issue with checkpoint button.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented multiplayer client from moving.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented multiplayer client from equipping weapon.
  • Fixed an issue that caused planet materials to get wonky as you get away from world origin. This only applies to versions greater than 1.0.
  • Fixed an issue that caused grass and trees to bounce up and down when running on large planets.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented market from clamping buy/sell value to item amount or wallet balance.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented market items from being added to inventory on purchase.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Skip Intro cheat to break game if used in versions greater than 1.0.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented player from being set to prone speed while going prone.
  • Fixed an issue with energy saber being too bright.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented energy saber from retracting.
  • Fixed an issue that broke headlooking when piloting space craft or vehicle in first person.
  • Fixed an issue that stopped journal from updating.
  • Fixed an issue with scaling in the main menu UI.
  • Fixed performance issues caused by projectile collisions.
  • Fixed an issue with ragdoll.
  • Fixed an issue that broke Leaning.


KNOWN ISSUES::


  • Foundations can't be placed on planets. Modules still work.
  • Hand does not move to grip point.
  • Going prone will let player look through ground if on slope.
  • Gamepad input isn't working properly.
  • Dual wielding weapon does not use offhand animations.
  • Attachments aren't removed (visual only) until item is toggled.
  • Some items do not line up with the player's hand.
  • Some items do not line up with the current sheath.
  • Switching weapons gives the player a full magazine.
  • Loading weapons and placing them in player's hand will attach them to player's feet if player lags when spawning in.
  • Slots do not change colors when hovered.
  • Player icon creator is not working.
  • Devices that are below recommended specs might experience significant performance issues in the Campaign. This should be resolved in the next update.
