I was absolutely certain the next annoucement would be about the release of the demo's second part. But something was missing.
Lots of people demanded this feature. So it was implemented in the game.
- Total overhaul of the input system allowing full rebinding/remapping of the controls for keyboard and gamepad. It was a lot of work. Also a shitload of controllers that were not supported before are now working.
Sadly the game is still showing the xbox one controller mapping in the tutorial but we will get to that with icons switching with the correct mapping soon.
What else ?
The Whisper is not moving forward anymore when you press the attack button.
Chromatic aberration has been toned down a little.
FOV is a little wider.
Stealth kills are now drastically draining the blue mana gauge. A necessary restriction if you ask me. The tutorial is reflecting this change too.
A Stealth kill icon has been added to the hud. That way, You will always know when you can perform one.
The Alert system is on hold. You can play the game like a killer, no need to wait if you are spotted. It's far less confusing and better for the flow. Simplifying your understanding of what is happening in game.
BE WARNED : for this update, enemies are really tougher to dispatch. Here is a challenge for you ! Hope you like it. Dash out of battle if the lancer is charging his blast attack, if not you might regret it.
Expect more news where we talk about the tremendous work on creating the huge new zone that will be available in the demo soon.
