The update we are releasing today for Tropico 6 features RTGaming’s community-designed map, additional customizations for El Presidente and his beloved palace, bug fixes, improvements and much more.

New features/ content:

• New Sandbox map has been added: ‘Ireland’ (YouTuber RT Gaming’s Community created map)
  
• A colour blind mode has been added. (Accessible via options menu)
  
• Possibility to add a Volcano has been added to the RMG options.

Community-requested features/improvements

• Added Brazilian Portuguese localization to the game.
  
• Option added to disable zoom during election speeches.
  
• When creating a sandbox game, settings for the previously created sandbox map will be automatically selected, so it is no longer necessary to set up your favourite settings from scratch every time you start a new game.
  
• Automatically activating overlays now show their title in the info panel (e.g. security overlay, when placing a police station)

Bug Fixes

• Multiplayer: Fixed an issue where multiplayer save games converted into singleplayer save games, which then became unusable.
  
• Multiplayer: Removed Caribbean Trade Pact Association as a Capitalist demand, because it is not available in multiplayer.
  
• Multiplayer: The Transparency Pact is now working for the client.
  
• Multiplayer: Fixed an issue where MacOS users could not access multiplayer, or became stuck.
  
• Multiplayer: Fixed an issue where players could sometimes get stuck in loading screens.
  
• Multiplayer: Loading a saved session will now show the correct era for all participating players.
  
• Fixed an issue where Tropicans would not leave their shacks, even when proper housing is available nearby.
  
• Fixed an issue where Tropicans switched between homes continuously.
  
• Fixed an issue where ministers would wander off to find a better job.
  
• Fixed an issue where foreign workers would not arrive, when there is only one worker in the dock.
  
• Fixed an issue that could lead to Tropicans getting stuck during an era progression.
  
• Garbage dumps now show a warning symbol, when they are full and need the “Fill Up” action.
  
• Fixed misleading and incorrect descriptions in superpower interactions.
  
• The security safety overlay is now shown during the placement of a security checkpoint.
  
• Global tourist rating modifiers are now visible in the Almanac.
  
• Selected construction sites will show the assigned workers with arrows.
  
• Fixed residences applying an efficiency modifier twice to their housing quality after implementing an electrify upgrade.
  
• It is no longer possible to place bus stops on the driveways of buildings (e.g. plastic factory).
  
• Each space program special reward will now only be awarded once.
  
• Fixed an issue where the rubble state was not shown anymore and buildings would change directly into construction sites.
  
• The colonial fort now shows the influence radius of the “Arsenal” upgrade.
  
• Fixed an issue where interaction with the broker was still possible during intellectuals’ escalation.
  
• Fixed an issue where the “martial law” edict could result in no further elections.
  
• There “free housing” edict does not affect tourist accommodation's required wealth anymore.
  
• The “Flex Muscles” standing modifier is now applied to the militarist faction, not the religious faction.
  
• Fixed an issue where the "Fire & Forget" quest cannot be completed after firing a worker.
  
• Fixed an issue where the "Safety First" quest in the "Shackland" mission could not be completed.
  
• Fixed description for the “Soft Hearted” trait.
  
• Fixed an exploit related to communist ministers.
  
• Fixed an exploit related to mine placing.
  
• Fixed a bug where El Presidente could become stuck in front of his palace.
  
• The "Praise Tropico" statue has been reworked.
  
• Fixed an issue, where foliage was not being removed when placing roads.
  
• Asus Aura notebooks now work properly with external Aura keyboards.
  
• Fixed several UI and graphical issues in the customization menu.
  
• Adjusted misleading text for the unlock conditions of the hologram decoration.
  
• Fixed an issue where trees could randomly grow on streets and plantations.
  
• Fixed several graphical glitches in the game (floating objects, broken textures, water tiles missing).
  
• Fixed several crashes.
  
• Childhood museum work mode “Raised by Lamas” did not affect factory ranches.
