Update notes via Steam Community

Version 1.2.1 of Vinyl Reality is now available. This update adds a ton of settings which allows user to customize both the appearance and handling of the turntables.

Customizing the turntable’s appearance

The appearance of the turntables can now be customized in a number of ways.
First of all, there a re now two turntable color schemes to chose from, the classic dark (SL-1210) scheme and the new light (SL-1200) scheme also found in earlier version of Vinyl Reality.

Users can now also easily design and load their own slipmat designs by following this handy guide available on the online documentation website.

Turntable handling settings

The user settings menu now has a separate turntable panel, which allows users to configure how the turntables handle.
For example, setting the Slipmat Friction to high and the Motor Start / Stop Speed to instant, will make the turntables handle a lot more like a CDJ (in vinyl mode) than a regular turntable.

Turntable spindle input

The turntable’s spindle can now also be used to make precise pitch bend corrections.
To increase or decrease the playback speed using the spindle, first grab the spindle with the trigger (index finger) and then while grabbing slide the thumb up or down the controller’s trackpad, or move the controller’s joystick up or down.
