Hello everyone! We've just released VRChat 2019.2.4, build number 800. You should restart Steam to get the latest update, and ensure you're not on any beta branches.
This release includes an update to Unity 2017.4.28f1! If you upload content like worlds or avatars, you need to update your Unity Editor install. Check out our documentation to see the process.
This update also includes:
- The ability to choose a minimum allowed performance rank, so you can hide badly performing avatars
- Thanks to the Unity upgrade, the ability to swap microphones in-app has returned!
- More Valve Index Controller refinements
- More Networked IK refinements
There's a lot more changes, so please read the patch notes! For more details, read the full details of this release.
Until your friends update their version of VRChat, you will not be able to see them in instances. Let them know that a new version is available!
If you're a creator, make sure you grab the latest SDK available at the VRChat Home website.
