Update notes via Steam Community

My first update is here for Life After The Living.

There's a bunch of content being added. I've pushed back the increase to the world size for now. I'd like to focus one what's already built in game before expanding on anything else.

I have added Ranger outposts to the game to help the players dehydration in game.

The player hideout at the beginning of the game has been increased in size, it also comes equipped with several much needed tutorials to better explain what can be done in game.

Also a water reservoir that collects rain water and converts it into drinking water for the player has been added. It's a low maintenance addition that will give the player a little extra water every day to help fight thirst and better prepare you to search the city before leaving for the wilderness to explore. A similar way to get extra food is planned for a future update.

There is a new piece of gear coming this update as well. The Canteen will be available at the players hideout from the beginning of the game. The player will be able to fill it from the wilderness water reservoirs as well as from the reservoir at your hideout.

Numerous bug fixes have been completed before this update including the doors inside the residential houses opening inward now instead of outward. There was a small issue with some players getting stuck when the doors opened outward. Text has been added to the HUD when players approach doors to tell them if the door is locked or not and also if the door can be interacted with or not. A small tutorial glitch at the start of the game was fixed as well. I'm sure there's more but those were the ones that stood out to me. I'll post another blog ASAP to inform everyone what to expect in the next update.

Thanks for your continued support
