Dead of Night Revamped Update News

(THE NEXT NEWS UPDATE AFTER THIS WILL BE THE RELEASE DATE :) )

Oh, hello!

So I'm sure EVERYONE EVERYWHERE is wondering what is happening with the Dead of Night update.

it's getting done!

So theres been a good bit done with the game, Vlad can now punch and throw fireballs at people and slimes!

Eating people has been overhauled - when you press the eat key time freezes, allowing you to choose between victims. Time resumes when the person has been drained (in the blink of an eye!).

More animations have been added and will have more added before its finished.

The time display has been changed - should be easier to understand :)

The inventory system will have 'tips' that should elude to what they do, but not always.

LOADS OF DIALOGUE (and still more to put in). I had a few people asking for different languages and offers to translate it but the dialogue was hardcoded the last time (dum) BUT NOW I can hand over an xml file and just have one column edited to a different language!

There are a few minigames in, should spice things up a little (I'll let you see them!)

AAANNNDDD you can slide down your very own batpole!

And other things that I cant remember, but there is still loads to do to bring this up to the game that it should be. And as this is an adventure game, I don't want to spoil things.

So again, its getting done. The list of things to do is getting smaller but theres always something to make you pull your hair out.

This will be the last bit of news before the release date is announced.

Sooner rather than later...
