It was brought to my attention that the backup movement W/A/S/D keys made the character disappear. That sort of breaks the game, right?

Now that shouldn't happen. Ideally you use the mouse and click and hold to get the best experience, but track pads and other resolutions exist and sometimes it just doesn't work out. W/A/S/D should work now.
