Dear players!

We’re excited to bring you update 0.0.9! This patch is packed with two brand-new battles, a ton of fresh Chubziks variety, major quality-of-life improvements, and dozens of bug fixes. Dive in and check out what’s new:

⚔️ Battles

  • Reworked and rebalanced every battle on the map

  • Added a brand new foresters battle, who protect the entrance to the market

  • Added a new boss-like battle against dozens elite chubziks and 11 barracks that spawn new chubziks!

  • Market Gate Shield: Interactive shield around the Market entrance button that dissolves after 10 seconds (resets if you remain on the pad).

  • Added two new equipment items for your car!
    1. Chained morgenshtern
    2. Hook

🐾 Chubziki Enhancements

  • New Chubziki Variants: Integrated a fresh model, eye props, and armor pieces. Now there are 7 levels of armor available for any chubzik! They all have different health, speed and weight.

  • Stand-Up Animation: Chubziki now get up from the ground with a smooth animation instead of teleporting upright.

  • Melee Combat Overhaul: Revamped MeleeAttackPattern logic and added new weapons (mace, axe, sword) for close-quarters action. Every new weapon has unique characteristics.

  • Sniper AI Retreat: Sniper Chubziki dash to a random cover point after each shot.

  • Barrier Equipment Buff: “Barrier” gear now blocks incoming projectiles with a 50% chance.

  • Dust Explosion VFX: Enjoy a satisfying burst of dust whenever a Chubziki is defeated.

  • Ragdoll Fixes: Eliminated null-reference crashes in the ragdoll bone container.

  • Pool Return Stability: Fixed errors when recycling Chubziki instances back into the object pool.

  • NavMesh Generation Tweak: Chubziki NavMeshes are now only built when they’re grounded, preventing off-field spawns.

  • Respawn Reset: Chubziki no longer retain last-session positions—they respawn fresh each battle.

  • Code Refactor: Cleaned up and modularized Chubziki AI code for better maintainability.

  • Eye Assets Ready: All new Chubziki eye textures and meshes uploaded—awaiting final integration.

🎵 Audio

  • 12+ New Sound Effects!

🎨 UI & VFX

  • Unified UI Styling: Menus and HUD elements now share a cohesive, minimalist look.

  • Spark Particles on Equip: Equipping gear nudges your vehicle into place with a shower of sparks.

🏎️ Races & 🎳 Bowling

  • Ordered Checkpoints: Race checkpoints only activate once you’ve passed the previous one.

  • Replay Friendly: Races and bowling can be replayed freely—rewards granted only on first completion.

  • Race Build Fixes: Stability and timing tweaks to ensure smooth race runs.

  • Bowling Boundary Fix: Crossing the red line no longer crashes or locks up the game.

🛠️ Architecture, Stability, Bug Fixes

  • Battle Restart Stability: Chubziki no longer freeze when restarting battles multiple times. Although they might freeze sometimes before you stop the car. We are fixing it

  • Quest Spawn Bug: Fixed quests referencing uninitialized Chubziki instances that caused game hangs.

  • Duplicate Variable Cleanup: Removed redundant minimalStunTime declarations.

  • VisibleActorsManager Fix: Squashed errors causing actor-visibility glitches.

  • And many other perfomance improvements, crash and bug fixes and etc.

  • Delayed Unloading: Locations now unload 15 seconds after you leave, smoothing transition hitches.

  • General Optimizations: Performance tweaks and memory-use improvements across all regions.
