For the Greater Good has officially been released! Fight through 4 acts of intense violence, meet some interesting characters, and experience the story’s twists and turns. And if that’s not enough, there are post-story challenge modes that range from fun to masochistic.
Some notable changes since the demo came out:
A new hint system when fighting bosses (press a button to reveal a hint after death)
Enemies with guns can be one-hit killed by any attack
The ability to skip any level in the story mode
You can now adjust your jump trajectory a bit while in the air
The demo has also been retroactively updated with these features.
If you find any bugs or have any suggestions, please make a post about it in For the Greater Good’s Steam forums. I’m also open to hearing feedback about the difficulty of specific bosses, etc.
Short-term future updates:
Free, unlockable skins you can earn by completing the post-story challenge modes
Adding a missing character’s picture to the main menu
Ironing out bugs
Translating the game:
I have made the game files easy to translate, so if the game reaches a moderate level of success, translating the game into various languages will be my top priority.
