Hey Slayers,

Phase 1 of our Demonbyte roadmap is here—and it’s a big one. We’ve been hard at work pushing new content, patching up bugs, and adding in a few chaotic surprises to keep things spicy. This marks a major step forward in our Early Access journey, and we’re excited to finally bring you the Foundations of Chaos update!

As promised, we’ve delivered 3+ new weapons in this phase. In fact, we added a fourth because... well, we could care less about limits when chaos is involved.

🆕 New Weapons Added:

• Sword & Shield – Get defensive and bash demons up close.

• Crossbow – Silent, deadly, and built for those who like precision.

• Dinosaur Egg (Easter Egg Weapon) – Yes, you read that right. Find it, throw it, splat it!

• DemonBeemGun – It hums, it beams, it melts. Enough said.

🌍 5 New Levels:

• Phase 1 promised 5 levels, and we delivered—bringing the total count to 15 levels.

• Level 11 is now fully finished (it used to cut off midway—no more!).

• These levels are packed with traps, ambushes, and all the demon-slaying mayhem you've come to expect.

👹 New Boss: The Demonlord

• It’s time to face a new nightmare. Prepare for a climactic fight with the Demonlord, our most chaotic boss yet.

🎬 New Cutscenes & Story Moments:

• A brand-new story cutscene has been added to expand the lore.

• Multiple mini-cutscenes added for immersion and narrative flavor.

• 4 new parody voiceovers to give you that signature Demonbyte humor.

🕵️ Secret Content:

• A new parody Easter egg has been hidden inside one of the levels. If you know, you know. 😉

🛠️ Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Fixed various wall glitches where players could get stuck.

• Resolved issues with monsters phasing into walls (this may still require future polish).

• Player no longer spawns facing the wall in Level 7. (You’re welcome.)

🎁 Surprise Reveal!

We’ve tucked a very special surprise into this update. It's not a weapon, it's not a spoof—it’s something much bigger and more meta than that. Play the game, explore a bit, and you might just stumble upon an announcement from Could Care Less that changes what’s coming next…
