Hey everyone! Over the past week or so I've been cooking up some new content for the game, as well as making some changes to improve the overall quality of the game. The v1.2 Update is now available!

Aestheta Devlog #2

Along with this update, I made another YouTube devlog where I discuss the new changes as well as addressing issues players have had with the game. This is probably my final devlog for Aestheta, I currently do not have any major plans for the future of this game. It's about 15 minutes long, in case you wanted something to listen to as background noise later.

New Cards

New cards!! I've added some new cards you can trade for as well as some new Champions. Two of the new Champions were existing cards that have each been condensed into one card.

Double Duel Mode

I added 2v2 to the game! This will appear as a rare battle mode where you and a teammate face off against two opponents at once!

Changes to Relics

Relics can stack now, basically. Some relics have also been changed to be more engaging as well as having effects that can stack.

  • added new cards

    • Hermit Crab, Jellyfish, Whirlpool, Pirate Crew, Treads, Missile Launcher, Broken Mirror, Superposition, Stigma, Taffy

  • condensed some existing cards into Champions

    • Blightriders & Chainsoul, Carissa & Aqua are now each one card

  • added 2v2 gamemode

  • added new challenges

  • added new relics

    • joker, jack-o-lantern, mimic, D20

  • reworked existing relics

    • relic effects can now stack

    • changed some relics to be more engaging (i.e. solace beacon now heals champions instead of reducing spawn time)

  • fixed champion abilities also applying to enemy champions

  • opponents will sometimes have traded cards in later battles

  • decreased card level increase from +20% per level to +10% per level

  • added new tab icons to main menu

  • star ticket run limit now increases per loop

  • added relics to card glossary tab

  • added card & relic descriptions to star ticket shop

  • added card type (troop, spell, building) to main deck tab

  • added simple tutorial text at the start of the game

  • flying troops now appear much higher and have a different visual around their shadows

  • updated disclaimer

  • fixed card borders button not appearing properly and being unable to assign card borders

  • balance changes

    • nekomancer now summons skeletons in front of them

    • spikeball deals knockback

    • abomination deals way less damage

    • seraphim has more health

    • devourer now takes damage over time

    • other minor stat changes

  • minor visual adjustments
