Update 0.9.5.0 is out! It features an Interface Overhaul, and some smaller gameplay tweaks.
Interface Overhaul
The UI has been redone. It is smaller by default, better for lower screen resolutions, and it scales much better to larger resolutions. Certain interfaces are larger by default, such as the 'escape' menu or options menu.
The primary interface in-game has been rearranged somewhat to provide far more UI space to items you select. The global inventory collapses when an item is selected.
Most windows that pop up now have most of their options and controls in the title bar. More windows have a search bar for easy searching.
When you resolve a warning or error, you get a sound played, and a strikeout of the issue.
The UI in general is now translucent. All the fonts and colors have been updated.
Difficulty Tweaks
On Sandbox and Easy Difficulties, there are no mission time limits. This option is now available on Custom Difficulty as well.
In Sandbox Mode, food and water and the like are only minimally consumed, and are totally optional. There is no penalty for depriving your people of these items. They'll stick around no matter how much you starve or suffocate them. In Sandbox Mode, workers are just built different.
Gameplay Tweaks
Powerplant fuels now have varying attributes, such as pollution and breakdown modifiers, as well as burn time. Added a new fuel - High Density Solid Fuel, which is accessible early in the tech tree.
Crisis warning time has been increased heavily, so you have more time to prepare. The Conflux Market also sells more items for dealing with crises.
Many other smaller gameplay balance tweaks.

Gameplay
- On easy and sandbox difficulties, missions have no time limit. This option can also be set in custom difficulties.
- Reduced food, water, and oxygen needs in sandbox mode. Also, in sandbox mode, there is no penalty for these items running out (they will complain, but it will have no effect).
- Your stash is placed immediately upon your rocket landing, so you don't have to do it yourself.
- Powerplant fuels vary in pollution and breakdown chances.
- Added a new fuel - High Density Solid Fuel. It lasts longer than regular solid fuel, but pollutes worse and causes more breakdowns.
- You can send items to your stash that are currently in use, such as food at your habitats or munitions in your gun turrets.

UI
- Overhauled the entire UI. Massive amount of tiny UI and UX changes to make the interface flow smoother and with less unexpected behaviors. Reworked all the UI graphics, colors, fonts, and general appearance.
- UI works better on smaller resolutions.
- Global inventory now has more detailed info in each tooltip, and it shrinks down whenever you activate any mode.
- Right clicking on any global inventory item allows you to select/zoom to any specific producer or storage of that item, or if you've selected a necessity, any habitat that currently has that necessity.
- UI graphics now have translucency.
- Added a global search to infolinks.
- Improved the global search of the tech tree.
- Tech tree clarity improved.
- Resolving a Warning or Error plays a sound and causes the task text to get a strikeout and later fade out.
- Global alerts UI animates more smoothly.
- When locating an item in your action bar from the tech tree, the locator ui will show items even if they are not researched.
- Missions tutorial recommends using the mission dropdown to complete it now.
- Various other tutorial improvements.
- Cleaned up a number of UI elements to be easier to read, and less cluttered.
- Research done and other important notifications are generated in two places - once in the center of your screen, and once in the bottom right corner.
- Ledger now only shows the last 10 days of information.
- When you have a delivery subscription, you'll get an alert message if a delivery is inbound.
