The "Road to 270" section now features a primary stage for each political party. Stronger candidates are usually assigned to the largest states and have weaker primary challengers. The winners from each party’s primary then compete against their counterparts from the opposing party within the same state. This updated format should add some kind of tournament sense to the section.
