v1.0.18 Public Beta 4 is now live! To access this build, select the "beta" branch in the games properties.
As always: please report any bugs you find by pressing F3! When filing a bug report, please provide as much detail as you can about what you were doing prior to the problem occurring. If we don't know how it happened, we often can't reproduce it to fix it. Camera Fixes:
Inspect should be working again
Players should not rotate in chairs when first person camera is active
Alt-Look at the helm should be working again
Fixed cinematic camera going into character in hallways
Improved exterior views in several areas
Flight-Related Issues:
Fixed helm docking functionality
Fixed collision issues with ship & station
Fixed ship drifting away after existing QD
Fixed issues related to Kaylon battles
Fixed issue with terrestrial planet in session menu not being landable
Shuttle Fixes:
Re-enabled chat and player list when in the shuttle
Fixed clipping, camera, and collision issues
Fixed shuttle re-launching from station to back of Orville
Lighting Improvements:
Fixed several lights not responding to alert status, including shuttle maintenance
Addressed issues with shadows in the airlock and some hallways
Tweaked lighting in some areas
UI Improvements:
Fixed E-Sim internal panel not functioning after program unload
Improved shuttle repair console to make it more intuitive
Updated scanner interactive panels to be more readable
Fixed not being able to reach controls on Quarters Customization tablet
Updated in-game news reel to show dates and handle formatted text
Removed scary broken multiplayer warning
Misc Improvements:
Fixed bullets not hitting intended location
Fixed issue where players could get trapped in E-Sim
Made it easier to insert chips into the E-Sim panel
Fixed repair props not having physics sounds
Reduced yeeting for some cargo containers
Addressed several mesh alignment issues and missing bulkhead doors
