We’re excited to announce that Update 2.2.5 for Seaorama: World of Shipping is now live! This update includes essential fixes and enhancements to improve your gameplay experience. Here's what's new:
🆕 New Features
- New log entry when a ship travels to a port for repairs.
- New Security insurance calculations. Now the cost is only for the trip leading to the port affected by piracy.
- New R&D window. Unlock upgrades through research to install on your ships and meet the requirements of the crew members. (R&D is available only when you start a new game session. Older saves will use the old format.)
- A new way of calculating the value of a share of a port, making it more affordable to invest.
- Added new column with Net Profit visible at Finance & Accounts.
🔧 Fixes and Improvements
- Improved Details at the Crew Members profile window. Know from before what upgrades to the ship each member will demand at each level and plan ahead with the new R&D department.
- Improved Details considering the percentage of event avoidance a crew member offers at the Crew Members profile window.
- Improved Port Investments window. See which ports sell shares, and know their ranking before investing. You can now also sell your shares from one port if you need money to invest elsewhere. AI companies can also buy shares, so be vigilant when new shares become available.
- Fix incomes/outcomes bugs.
- Fix Charter contract bug.
- Workshop packages hotfixes.
- Better breakdown for percentage and full amount of fuel at the Fuel window in Operations.
- Changes to Contract bonuses for the Game modes. Easy Mode now gets +60%, Medium Mode gets +30%, and Hard Mode (plus Ranked Mode) gets no bonuses from the contracts.
