Two updates in a month - wowza! I'm very happy to bring Update 1.2.2 to y'all, a small but much requested one that finally brings Steam Achievements to the game. There are now 26 achievements to be unlocked for you completionists out there. All twenty six have been verified on our end to be acquirable, so happy hunting, y'all! Please be aware, since Steam Achievements weren't on our radar when we first released SMH, these are not retro active. If you have technically completed an achievement prior to 1.2.2 (for example, finishing a character's route), you will need to do so again in order for Steam to recognize it. Just a reminder that you can quickly speed through dialogue by holding down the Left CTRL button!
HUGE THANKS TO korytoombs/Sunflower Games FOR THEIR AMAZING WORK PUTTING TOGETHER THE PLUG-IN THAT ENABLES OUR ENGINE TO INTERACT WITH STEAM'S SDK! We never could have gotten this working without them - please consider supporting them on itch.io, and our heartfelt thanks again!
Lastly, this update also comes with a bug fix for the previously mentioned Quick Speed bug that occurred when switching between save files that were set at different campaign lengths. This issue should now be impossible reproduce, but as always - please let me know on the forums if there's any issues.
Barring any huge changes in circumstance, this'll likely be my real last update for a while. Very happy we got a chance to add these requested features. Thanks again, everybody, and HUGE welcome to the big influx of players who've picked up the game over the last month. Take care, ya wild cats!
